Abstract
자체 개발한 one-dimensional computer program을 사용하여 여러가지 FEL의 최적 조건을 알아 보았다. cavity 내의 각지점에서 전자들이 갖는 에너지와 laser field의 wave amplitude를 계산해 보았으며 이러한 계산을 바탕으로 하여 출력과 이득, 효율등을 계산할수있다. seed wave가 증폭되는 각각의 지점에서 450개의 입사 입자에 대해 phase space도 그려 보았으며 tapered wiggler일경우 385 ㎛FEL에대해 19% , ELF FEL의 경우 약 60 % 의 최대 효율을 각각 얻을수 있었다. 그리고 80 MeV FEL의 최적 조건을 찾아 보았다.;We have obtained optimized conditions for various FEL's with one-dimensional simulation code. In order to understand the changes of the beam power, radiation power, the gain, and the efficiency, we have calculated the average energy of electrons and the wave amplitude of the seed wave at each step in the cavity. We have tracked the phase-space trajectories using 450 simulation particles during the amplification of the seed wave. Using a tapered wiggler, we have found optimal conditions that increased the maximum efficiency to 19% for a 385 ㎛ FEL and 60% for an ELF FEL. We have been also able to get the conditions of high gain and efficiency for a 80 MeV FEL.
