F. Liszt의 Fantasie und Fuge uber den choral "Ad nos ad Salutarem undam"과 M. Dupre의 Symphonie passion op. 23에 관한 연구

Abstract

This thesis is a study on F. Liszt's Fantasie und Fuge u˝ber den choral "Ad nos ad salutarea undam" and M. Dupre´'s Symphonie Passion Op.23, which were the works comprising writer's graduation recital performed on May, 18. 1991. Fantasie und Fuge u˝ber den choral "Ad nos ad salutarem undam" is one of his significant organ works. This is based on the choral melody of Meybeer's opera "Le Prophete" With various Orchestra tone color, and rhetoric technique, this work shows fascinating, powerful expressiveness effectively. One theme is subjected to various technique of alteration to form the thematic basic on entire work. Fantasie, Adagio and Fuge are modified into one movement sonata form. Symphonie Passion Op. 23 is remarkable work of M. Dupre´, Master of France organ music. Traditional symphonic style and modern France organ music style are involed in this religional program music. This work is consisted of four movement which are titled "the world awaiting the savior", "nativity", Crucifixion", "Resurrection". Each movement uses cyclic form of thematic motive, cantus firmus, staccato, rapid chord succession, imitation, repetition, texture inversion, chromatic scale, characteristics harmonic and evident tonality.;이 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 (1991년 5월 18일) 곡목 F. Liszt (1811-1886)의 Fantasie und Fuge u˝ber den choral "Ad nos ad salutarem undam" 과 M. Dupre´의 Symphonie Passion op. 23 에 관하여 연구한것이다. Fantasie und Fuge u˝ber den choral "Ad nos ad salutarem undam"은 Franz Liszt의 낭만적이고 진보적인 특징이 잘 나타나있는 대표적인 작품으로 Meyerbeer의 오페라 Le prophete 제 1 막에서 세명의 재침례교들이 불렀던 choral 선율에 기초하여 작곡되었다. 이 곡은 19세기 오케스트라의 다양한 음색과 피아노 연주기법에서 영향을 받아 화려하며, 기교적인 낭만적 특성이 풍부하게 나타나며, 단일주제를 곡 전체에 순환적으로 사용하고 변형된 소나타 형식으로 Fantasie, Adagio, Fuge를 단일 악장으로 포함시켰다. Symphonie Passion Op. 23은 프랑스 오르간 음악의 거장 Marcel Dupre´(1886-1971)의 대표적 작품으로 19세기 이후 발전된 Symphonic style의 전통과 20세기 프랑스 오르간 음악의 특징이 잘 조화된 종교적인 표제음악이다. 이 곳은 4악장형식으로 각각은 구세주를 기다림, 탄생, 수난, 부활이라는 표제를 가지고 있다. 각 악장은 주제를 나타내는 특징적인 motive와 정선율을 반복, 모방, 성부교차의 방법으로 순환적으로 사용하고 있으며, staccato와 chord의 빠른 움직임 등 매우 난해한 기교를 요구하고 있고, 반음계와 독특한 화성을 사용하지만 분명한 조성을 가지는 성경내용을 묘사적으로 잘 표현한 작품이다.
