아버지의 직업에 따른 유아기 자녀의 발달적 기대수준

Abstract

본 연구는 자녀들에 대한 발달기대가 아버지의 직업에 따라 어떻게 다른지 그 차이를 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 대상은 우리 나라 4곳을 선정하고 그 도시의 유아교육기관 1곳을 택하여 아버지 350명을 무선선정 하였다. 연구도구로는 Hese와 Azuma에 의해 개발된 발달기대 질문지 Developmental Expectations Questionaire를 이 희선에 의해 한국인에게 적합하게 개정한 것을 사용하였더. 수집된 자료의 통계는 아버지의 직업에 따른 발달기대를 알아보기 위해 One-way ANOVA로 산출하였으며. 아버지의 직업과 자녀와 놀아주는 시간과의 관계를 알아보기 위해 X2로 분석하였으며. 아버지가 자녀와 보내는 시간과 발달기대를 알아보기 위해 상관(r)을 보았다. 본 연구 문제에 따라 추출한 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. I-1. 아버지의 직업에 따라 예의범절에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 아버지의 직업이 전문직일수록 발달기대가 높았고 비숙련직일수록 발달기대가 낮았다. I-2. 아버지의 직업에 따라 순서에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 없었다. I-3. 아버지의 직업에 따라 정서적 성숙에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 없었다. I-4. 아버지의 직업에 따라 언어적 단호성에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 아버지의 직업이 전문직일수록 발달기대가 높았고 비숙련직일수록 발달기대가 낮았다. I-5. 아버지의 직업에 따라 학업능력에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 아버지의 직업이 전문직일수록 발달기대가 높았고 비숙련직일수록 발달기대가 낮았다. I-6. 아버지의 직업에 따라 독립성에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 아버지의 직업이 전문직일수록 발달기대가 높았고 비숙련직일수록 발달기대가 낮았다. I-7. 아버지의 직업에 따라 사회적 기능에 대한 아버지의 발달기대는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 아버지의 직업이 전문직일수록 발달기대가 높았고 비숙련직일수록 발달기대가 낮았다. II. 아버지의 직업과 자녀와 놀아주는 시간과의 관계에 대한 질문에 대해서는 평상시와 휴일에 자녀와 함께하는 시간은 아버지의 직업에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 평상시 자녀와 함께하는 시간은 전문적인 아버지가 가장 많고, 휴일에 함께하는 시간은 전문직, 관리직의 경우가 많았다. III. 자녀에 대한 기대수준은 아버지가 자녀와 보내는 시간에 따라 관련이 있는가에 대한 질문에 대해서는 정서적 성숙 영역을 제외한 전영역에서 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 평상시 혹은 휴일에 놀아주는 시간이 길수록 자녀의 행동 발달 기대수준이 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로 아버지의 직업이 전문직일수록 예의범절, 언어적단호성, 학업능력, 독립성, 사회적기능에 대한 기대수준이 높으며 아버지의 직업이 전문적인 경우 평상시와 휴일에 자녀와 함께하는 시간이 많으며. 아버지가 자녀와 많이 놀아줄수록 예의범절, 순종. 언어적단호성, 학업능력. 독립성, 사회적기능에 대한 기대가 높다.;The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of infant's developmental expection according to the father's occupation. For this research, four cities in Korea were selected randomly, and then one kindergarten 350 fathers of children in It as the subject of this survey. The Developmental Expectation Questionaire designed by Hess and Azuma was rivised for Korean was used and distributed to fathers to find out father's expectations, namely at what age their children could behave like the questionare shown. Data obatained from the Survey were coded and analyed by SPSS Computer Programs, One-way ANOVA analysis and correlation were computed accordingly. The results of this study is as follows: 1, Is there any difference of sub-factor An the father's developmental expectation according to the father's occupation? (1) According to the father's occupation, there are significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to Politeness. Therefore, father's dovelopmental enpectation is more higher when he is professional than the non-skilled. (2) According to the father's occupation, there is no significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to compliance. (3) According to the father's occupation, there is no significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to emotional maturity. (4) According to the father's occupation there are significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to verval Assertive-ness, Therefore, father's developmental expectation is more higher when he is professional than the non-skilled. (5) According to the father'a occupation, there are significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to school related skills. Therefore, father's dovelopmental expectation Is more higher when he is professional than the non-skilled. (6). According to the father's occupation, there are significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to independence, Therefore, father's developmental expectation is more higher when he is professional than the non-skilled. (7) According t o the father's occupation, there are significant differences of father's developmental expectation in relation to social skills. Therefore, father's developmental expectation is more higher when he is professional than the non-skilled. 2. Is there any relation between father's occupation and the time his spending with his children? There is significant difference on staying with his child at normal time and on weekend, according to father's occupation. Mostly, Fathers with professional spend their time with their children at normal time and fathers who are manager or have professional on weekends. 3. Is there any correlation between. the father's developmental expectation and the amount of time they spend with their children? Only except on emotional maturity level there were on every other positive correlation level. Conclusively, the more professional the father's occupations were, the higher father's expectation for politeness, verbal assertiveness, school related skills, independence, and social skills.
