A. Bournonville의 대표 작품속에 나타난 민족사상 고찰

Abstract

새로운 「민족문화의 재창조」라는 시대적 요구에 부응하여 근자 우리나라의 전통적인 예술분야에 대한 재조명은 말할 것도 없고 발레예술계에서도 「민족발레」의 정착이라는 시대적 당위성이 그 어느 때보다 더욱 절실히 요구되어 왔다. 이에 부응하여 많은 시도가 무용인들에 의해 행해져 왔으며 앞으로도 역시 그러할 것이라는 점은 명약관화한 사실이라 하겠다. 그러나 이와 같은 노정이 결코 단순, 명료하지만은 않을 것이며, 따라서 적지않은 시행착오와 함께 이를 감수해야 함도 우리에게 주어진 과제임에 분명하다. 민족발레에의 지향이라는 시대적 요구에 준하여 앞으로 한국발레가 나아가야 할 방향설정과 그 방법론의 확립이 무엇보다도 먼저 선행되어야 할 시급한 과제이다. 이러한 시점에서 덴마크 특유의 민족 발레를 정착시킨 어거스트 부르농빌 (August Bournonville)의 예술사상과 그의 작품 속에 나타난 민족적 특성에 대한 연구는 우리에게 소중한 교훈을 제공할수 있으리라 믿는다. 19세기 낭만주의 발레시대의 뛰어난 무용가이며 Royal Danish Ballet단의 훌륭한 안무가이자 지도자였던 어거스트 부르농빌은 조국 덴마크의 발레 발전에 주도적인 역할을 하였으며, 오늘날, Royal Danish Ba let단의 수준을 세계적인 위치로 부각시키는데 지대한 공헌을 하였다. 무용가로서의 그의 명성은 유럽의 무대 위에서 인정되었으며, 안무가로서의 역량은 1829년 첫 작품인 「병사와 농부(The Soldier and the Peasont) 그를 무대에 올린 이 후 1877년 무대를 떠날 때까지 그가 제작한 40여 편의 작품들을 통하여 충분히 짐작할 할 수 있다. 또한 교사로서의 그의 교수법은 한스 백(Hans Beck)의 기록과 라로브(Kirsten Lalove)의 「부르농빌 스쿨(Bournonville school)에 의해 후세의 무용수들에게 전해지고 있다. 어거스트 부르농빌의 예술 사상과 그의 대표적인 작품을 통하여 민족발레에로의 지향을 위한 방향을 동시에 그 방법론을 제시하고자한다.;According to meet requirements of the times for the new ‘recreation for the national culture’, not only our country's reillumination of traditional art field, but at the ballet art world community also was earnestly required for the settlement of ‘the national ballet’. But, with this mileage will not absolutely simple and clear, and accordingly, it is our clear given subject of to be perceived not only lots of trial and that error that existed, but to be accepted According to the timely requirement for intention of national ballet, it is utmost urgent subject the establishment of methodology and settlement of direction to be preceded forward of Korea's ballet. At this point of time, the thought of arts for August Bournonvillet, who had implanted Denmark's unique national ballet and the study of nationalistic characteristics in his works will offer us significant teachings. The August Bournonville, who was superior ballet dancer at the era of romanticism in 19 century, not only the leader but excellent one of choreographer in the group of Royal Danish Ballet, played leading role in the development of the ballet of father land. Denmark, and contributed enormous enhaucement to be embossed now a days level of "Royal Danish Ballet" group to a world-wide position. His reputation as a ballet dancer was recognized at the stage in Europe and his ability as a choreographer was surely presumed by 40 volumes of his works that debuted from is first work of ‘the soldier and the peasant’on the stage until the last day of which he left the stage in 1877. Moreover, his teaching method as a teacher have handed down to the ballet dancer of future generations by the records of Hans and Beck Bournonville school of Kirsten Lalove. Now, with such a through of Bournoville and through his representation works and in order to grope for direction for the inclination toward national ballet, as well as, we outlined the imagination of Korea's ballet with ‘Korea fantasy’made by Prof. Jung Myung Hwi, and now under performing in Korea took as a sample.
