2세아의 어휘사용에 관한 사례 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 2세유아의 어휘를 관찰 수집하여 어휘폭을 알아보고, 품사별로 분석하여 2세유아의 표현 어휘 발달의 경향을 조사하고자 한 것이다. 그리하여 2세유아의 어휘목록이 어떠한지 알아보았다. 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 2세유아의 어휘폭 및 품사 사용순위는 어떠한가? 2. 2세유아의 품사 사용양상은 어떠한가? 연구방법으로는 사례연구법을 사용하였다. 연구 대상은 서울의 중류가정에 살고있는 26개월 된 남자아이를 택하였다. 유아의 어휘를 수집하기 위해 자연스런 상황에서 대상어린이를 62일 동안(2년∼2년 2개월) 관찰기록 하였다. 좀 더 세밀하게 말하면 연구 방법은 녹음과 기록의 방법을 사용했다. 수집된 자료는 품사별로 분류해서 가나다 순서에 따라 어휘목록을 작성하였고, 품사의 사용양상을 살펴보았다. 녹음 및 기록의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자는 509개의 총 어휘를 가지고 관찰기간동안 3,019번 활용하고 있다. 많이 사용하는 품사 순서는 명사-동사-부사-형용사-감탄사-조사-관형사-대명사-수사로 나타나고 있다. 2. 1) 명사 중에서 음식물, 장난감, 사회적 사항, 동물, 일용품과 가구에 관계되는 어휘들을 많이 습득하고 있다. 그러나 그 사용에 있어서는 엄마, 아빠를 중심으로 대상자의 주변사람과 관계된 어휘들을 많이 사용하고 있다. 2) 인칭대명사 중에서 1인칭이 제일 먼저 발달하며 2인칭이 나타나지 않고 있는 반면에 오히려 3인칭이 나타나고 있다. 지시대명사 중에 '저기'보다 '이것'과 '여기'가 더 빈번하게 사용되어 어린이 자신을 중심으로 점차 확대되어 사용되었다. 3) 수사의 사용에 있어서는 수의 이름만 알 뿐 아직 그 개념은 파악하고 있지 못했다. 4) 조사에 있어서는 서술격조사 '이다' 주격조사 '가' 처소격조사 '에' 동일보조사 '도'를 많이 사용하며, 목적격조사 '를' 소유격조사 '의'는 적게 사용되고 있다. 5) 행위와 관련된 뚜렷한 동작을 나타내는 동사의 사용이 두드러지며 자주 가지고 노는 장난감에 관계된 동사도 많이 사용한다. 6) 대상의 속성을 기술하는 형용사 중에 '작다'와 '크다'가 제일 먼저 발달한다. 비교형용사의 사용이 아직 불완전하며 정적인 극(Positive pole)의 용어를 더 선호하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구는 관찰기간이 짧아 점진적 언어발달 경향은 알아보기가 어렵다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 이 연구의 타당성을 위해 2세아에 대한 보다 많은 연구가 있어야겠다. 또한 어린이의 언어발달에는 부모나 그 주변사람의 영향이 크므로 그 영향도 함께 분석되어져야겠다.;The purpose of the study is to investigate. the general tendency o f expressive language use of 2 years old by. analizing word classes. The questions of this study are as follows: 1. What's the number of vocabulary and the order of word classes used by 26 months' old boy. 2. What's the pattern of word classes used by 26 months' old boy. The study method was a case study. The subject was 26 months' old boy of middle class who lived in Seoul and his spontaneous speeches in natural settings were observed and tape recorded during 2 months. Collected his vocabulary were analized to word classes and were made to vocabulary list. The results are as follows: 1. The total number of words were 3,019 words consisted of 509 with different meanings. And the order of word classes that used frequently by the subject was as follow: noun-verb-adverb-adjective-interjection-case-prenoun- Pronoun-numerals. 2. 1) The subject used noun frequently. The most frequent noun words about persons around him, houses, foods, animals and toys. He made compound nouns. 2) In personal pronoun, the first personal pronoun were developed at first. The subject substituted 'I' to his name. In the demonstrative pronoun, 'this' and 'here' were more used than 'that' and 'there'. 3) In numerals, the subject knew just name of number but didn't know it's conception. 4) In case, the subject used frequently predicative 'ida' subjective 'ka', locative 'eh', the auxiliary case 'do', but seldom used objective 'reul' and possessive ' eay' . 5) In verb, the subject used frequently verbs for conspicuous motor behavior and verbs related to objects that he often played with. 6) In adjective, the subject used imperfectly the comparative adjective and preferred the terms of positive pole.
