소형미술관 실내공간계획방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

미술은 필연적인 인간삶의 추구이며 종교적이건 인간한계의 영역이든간에 그 시대 그 상황의 인간활동과 미술활동은 그 본질적 내용에서 일치된 것이다. 현대예술의 지상과제는 인간성 회복으로 자연적인 인간애의 교류로서 생활의 조화를 이루고 정화된 정서와 풍요롭고 윤택한 삶을 찾고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 의미에서 미술관은 현대미술의 문제를 포용하고 해결할 수 있는 공간으로서 그 의미를 가져야만 한다. 우리나라는 서구로부터 20세기초 미술관이 소개된 이후 정상적인 발전을 이루지 못했으나 다행히 1986년 국립현대미술관이 과천에 이전하여 대형미술관으로서 그 체계가 정립되어 가고 있다. 그러나 현대적 의미의 미술관은 전문화된 소형미술관이다. 수장과 진열을 중심으로한 박물관적 성격의 미술관과 대형미술관은 일반인들의 일상적생활에서 접근이 용이하지 않고 특별한 배려하의 방문이 가능하며 피상적인 감상의 장이 되고 있다. 이와같은 미술관은 과거의 미술관으로 현대미술의 문제를 해결할 수 없으며 새로운 현대적 의미의 미술관이 필요한 것이다. 다시말해서 일반인들의 일상생활영역속에 존재할 수 있고 현대미술작가들이 밀도있는 작품을 표현할 수 있으며 개성이 있는 분야별로 세분화된 소형미술관이 현대적 의미의 미술관이다. 그러나 우리나라 소형미술관은 많은 문제점을 갖고 있다. 그 운영과 시설면에서 시대적 사회적 요구에 부합되지 못하고 갑작스러운 경제적 부와 더불어 일어난 미술호황기의 피조물로 난립하고 있는 상황이다. 이러한 점들을 고려하여 우리시대의 필연적인 미술관의 모습을 찾아보고저 다음과 같은 내용을 연구하였다. Ⅰ장에서는 소형미술관의 문제제기와 연구목적을 밝히고 연구범위를 설정하였으며 연구방법을 구체적으로 설명하였다. Ⅱ장에서는 미술관의 일반적 고찰로서 미술관의 개념, 기원과 발달과정, 역할과 의미. 유형등을 연구하여 현대적 의미의 미술관 개념을 확립 하고 Ⅲ장에서는 현재 우리나라 소형미술관과 화랑을 서울을 중심으로 조사 분석한 결과로서 그 내용은 지역적 특성에 따른 분포현황, 운영과 활동형태, 공간구성과 규모, 전시실에 대한 조사이다. Ⅳ장에서는 미술관실내공간계획방법의 기본원칙을 연구하였는데 이들 내용으로서는 기능과 기본조건, 공간구성, 규모산정, 전시실 공간계획, 채광과 조명계획, 전시공간에 따른 보조계획으로 분류하여 조사 연구하였다. Ⅴ장에서는 미술관의 개념을 우리나라 현상황에 따라 재정립하고 새로운 미술관 실내공간계획안을 제시하였다. Ⅵ장은 위 연구에 대한 결론으로 소형미술관의 실내공간계획방법을 알고 계획안을 제시해 봄으로써 현대미술의 문제에 접근한 결과라 하겠다.;The value of the art museum which is the core of culture is becoming more and more important according to the change in the structure of modern society and art activity. Since introduced from Europe in the early 20th century museum of art in these country couldn't developed normaly. After 1970, with economic development both people's participation and interest in culture and the art museum activity increased very fast. Therefore, in such a short history the activity and the facility of art museum had been imperfect. Fortunatly, in August, 1986, The National Museum of modern art was opened, and in our country the great museum of art established. But, the small art museum is the very art museum in modern sense. Because, art is the inevitable pursuit of the human life. At any time any place human activity and art activity coinside in their substance in the way of religion or humanity. The important problem of art is recovery of the humanity in this mechcanic and organic society : that is the looking for the harmony in life, the purified emotion, and better life as the exchange of human nature. In this sense, the art museum have it's meaning when it solve the problems. But as the large art museum and the art museum that had only purpose of collection and exhibition was not easy for people to go there and see at the surface of materials. They were in the past. As they could not solve the problems of the modern art, we need to have the art museum of the modern sense. So the "small art museum" where modern artist can present their work and which exist in the people's everyday life is the "modern art museum". But many small art museum in ourcountry have their own problems In the management and facilities, they can't meet the social need of these time. Considering these points, I studied the following contents to looking for the ideal art museum at this time. In the I chapter I suggested the problems of the small art museum and wrote purpose of the studying, the range of the study, and method of it. In the I1 chapter, by studying the concept, the origins and development process, the role and meaning, the types of the art museum. I settled the concept of the modern art museum. In the Ⅲ chapter, these contents are the result of the research and survey of the small art museum and art gallery that are selected in Seoul. These contents are mentioned following 1. Crowd formation by the district chartacter. 2. Administration and the type of activity. 3. Space organization and the scale. 4. Survey of the exhibition room. In the Ⅳ chapter, I studied the basic principle of the method of interior space planning in art museum. Viewing form the variety and variablness of the modern art that could seem to be too standaedized. But I thought they are very important as the rational design method, I studied the following contents. 1. Function and basic condition 2. Space organization. 3. Estimation of the scale. 4. Space planning of the exhibition room. 5. Nature and artificial lighting planning. 6. Supplementary following planning the exhibition space In V chapter, I reestablished the concept of the art museum according to the condition in Korea and suggested a new Interior space planning in the small art museum. That is the art museum activity should be widly distributted in common people's every day life range and can be achieved the purpose of the modern sense of art. So I suggested the planning of the small art museum. Chapter VI is the conclusion of this study. It is to approach to the problems of the modern art to study this project and suggest this project.
