우리나라 학교교육에서의 환경교육에 관한 연구

Abstract

Rapid industrialization in Korea bare many problems of environmental contamination and destruction of the nature. To solve these problems fundamentally, it is very important for us to recognize the value of the nature and the seriousness of the contamination. But we have thought little of it. Thus, the thesis was written to give the precautionary measures for environmental problems. Specially, the author hope to emphasize the importance of the environment education as a way of solution of environmental problems. The contents studied in thesis are as follows 1. The definition, purpose and necessity of the environment education and the discription of the thesis' concents 2. The comparision of the contents of the environment education between Korea and Germany, U.S.A. and Japan. 3. The Point out of the environment education problems. (1) Non-exisitence of the related laws. (2) The problems in the education system. (3) Rack of teaching implements and materials. (4) Superficial environment education for instructors. (5) Budgetary problems. 4. The proposals to solve above-mentioned problems. (1) The enactment of the environment education act. (2) The enforcement of study on the spot. (3) The training of instructors. (4) The organization of the Board of Environment Education Process. (5) The effective method in schooling. (6) The financial backing. The purpose of reflecting the problems of environmental con tamination and destruction in the education course of the school is not only to let the students actively meet with these probelems and raise the positive attitude for the required solution, but also to develop purposely the consciousness and actions for the solution of this problem.;급진적인 산업화 과정에서 경제성장과 함께 환경오염과 환경파괴 문제가 발생하였다. 이러한 환경오염과 환경파괴 문제를 근본적으로 해결할 수 있는 방법의 하나는 인간과 환경의 자연스러운 조화와 환경에 관한 가치를 인식시켜 줄 환경교육에 있다. 그러므로 본 연구는 환경문제에 대하여 효율적이고 능률적이며 장기적 안목에서 예방대책을 세우기 위한 교육적 측면에서의 기초자료가 되게 하려고 수행된 것이다. 특히 국민 모두에게 환경문제를 깊이 인식하게 하고 앞으로의 환경오염과 환경파괴의 발생을 미연에 방지하기 위한 방법으로서 환경교육의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서 다루어진 내용은 다음과 같다. 1 . 환경교육의 정의, 목적, 필요성의 서술 2 . 환경교육에서 다루어지는 내용과 방법 및 서독, 미국, 일본의 환경교육과 우리나라 환경교육의 내용 비교 3 . 환경교육의 문제점 제시 (1) 구체적인 법규의 부재 (2) 교육제도상의 문제 (3) 교재와 교구의 제작 부족 (4) 교원에 대한 형식적인 환경교육 (5) 예산상의 문제 4 . 환경교육의 개선방안 제시 (1) 환경교육의 적극화를 위한 환경교육법의 제정 (2) 현장학습 실시 (3) 교사의 훈련 (4) 환경교육과정 위원회의 조직 (5) 효과적인 교육방법 (6) 재정적 뒷받침 (7) 초. 중. 고등학교에서의 교과내용의 강화 학교의 교육과정에 환경오염 문제나 자연보호에 대한 내용을 반영하는 것은 학생들로 하여금 이러한 문제에 적극적으로 대처하고 반드시 해결해 나가겠다는 긍정적 태도를 기르고 문제 발생의 해결을 위한 의식과 행동을 의도적으로 기르자는 데 있는 것이다.
