"로미오와 쥴리엣"에 관한 연구

Abstract

Shakespeare원작의 발레 Romeo and Juliet은 20 세기 발레역사에 있어서 다양한 안무와 음악을 가진 작품이다. 이것은 Shakespeare의 많은 비극중 Romeo and Juliet이 가장 서정적인 Pas de deux의 쟝르가 형성되고 이 Pas do deux는 발레의 중요한 관심사이기 때문이다. 1811년 Vincenzo Galeotti의 안무 이래 많은 작품이 나왔지만 오늘날까지 전막 발레로 남아있는 작품은 러시아의 Yuri Grigerovich 안무와 영국의 Kenneth Macmillan안무이며, 이 두 안무를 연구하는데 본 논문의 연구목적이 있다. Ⅱ장에서 Romeo and Juliet의 발생과 역사적 배경을 살펴보고, Ⅲ장에서는 Grigerovich와 Macmillan의 안무성형과 안무구조를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 Grigorovich안무는 음악, 미술, 무용수등의 요소가 전체 예술개념의 통일체로 작용하며 전체 흐름을 중요시 하는 Michel Fokine의 신 낭만주의 사상으로 연결되고, Macmillan 안무는 무용수의 동작에 중점을 두어 동작을 과학적으로 완벽하게 묘사하는 Marius Petipa의 신고전주의로 연결되었으며, 이러한 안무가의 주관이 두 작품을 똑같이 가치있게 한것임을 알 수 있다.;In twenty centruies ballet history, the ballet "Romeo and Juliet" originally written by Shakespeare as play, is one of the works that has various choreographies and musics. The "Romeo and Juliet" was formed the most lyrical pas de deux jenre among many Shakespear's tragedies. Also, this pas de deux is a important matter of concern in ballet. In 1811, many words were made since Vincenzo Caleotti's choreography, but Russian, Yuri Grigorovich's and England, Kenneth Macmillan's choreographies are the only remain as full-length ballet. The purpose of this study was to make a comparative study between Grigorovich's and Macmillan's choreographies. In chapter Ⅱ, origin and historical background of "Romeo and Juliet" were deliberated. In chapter Ⅲ, the inclinations and structures of both choreographies works were analyzed of the Video. The result of this study could be explained as follows : 1. Grigorovich's choreography is that the elements, music, arts, and members of dancers, act fuction as a unity of whole artistic concepts, so, it can be linked to Micheal Fokine's neo-romanticism ideas that took a serious view of throughout flow. 2. Macmillan's choreography could be linked to the Marius Petipa's New-Classicism which took a serious view of the acts of dancers. So, the actions are delineated scientifically and perfectly by dancers. We could know that two choreographies were made same in value by different choreographer's subjectivities.
