大學博物館의 室內空間計劃에 關한 硏究

Abstract

The rapid increase in the numbers of university students brought the need of quality improvement of educational activities in universities, and such needs causes therefrom made most universities in our country encountered in securing spaces to accomodate the functions of social community service to local community. In other words each university, if possible, should design its own educational programs not only for theoretical learning but for practical exercise, and should provide the community members with enough spaces to have thew released from the daily life and have their interests concentrated on the past, present, and future. As a study on university museum, a community of intellectual activities in a university, this thesis starts from the view point of the definition: a university museum must perform as a channel between university and university culture, and as a communicative working spot for inter-relationship between university and Local community cultures. The purposes of this thesis are to restructure basic plans so that the museum can perform as an educational place for national culture, and to suggest proper interior models for the utilization of museum, and finally, to contribute to social and cultural developments by enforcing the function of university museum as a learning place. The summarized design process and planning specialities are as follows: 1. The scope, approach and goal of this study were established through the problems out of university cultural facilities. 2. The basic information for this study was collected through the study of existing reference and information. The function and specialities of university museum were analyzed by the theoretical study. 3. The status of facilities was investigated and questionnaire was executed. The above approach was evaluated and analyzed by various method, i.e. social, psychological, physical, environmental aspects with a view to identify the existing interior entity. 4. Fundamental factors for interior design, i.e. display method, display system, physical environment design were developed on the basis of problems resulting from analyzing current situation and existing reference and information 5. An effective interior spacial design certainly needs to be based on artistic contrivances by which extended interior design factors are well shown to enhance overall interior space image through proper use of the space in relation to its interior display-arrangement, thereby insuring better quality of the "University Museum" in a more adaptable method. 6. In conclusion, both of museum visitors fand museum exhibits are so much related in the space of university museum. Therefore, to improve the interior design of university museum, coordination between university administration and museum visitor should be required in addition to establishment of more functional and reasonal interior design at the same time.;오늘날 우리나라의 대학은 급증하는 대학인의 증가에 따라 대학수준의 향상과 그에 따른 전인교육의 필요성 및 대학이 지역사회 봉사의 기능을 수용할 수 있는 공간을 필요로 하고 있다. 이는 실물교육의 현장이 마련되어져 이론교육과 함께 전인교육이 이루어져야 한다는 것이고, 대학이 지역사회에 봉사하여 지역민이 일상의 생활에서 잠시 벗어나 과거와 오늘, 그리고 미래에 관심을 가길 수 있는 공간을 마련하여야 한다는 것이다. 따라서 대학박물관에 대한 본 연구는 대학의 지적인공동체로서「대학과 대학문화의 긴밀한 연결, 대학과 지역민의 문화교류의 장」으로 인식하는 관점에서 출발하여 대학의 전인교육 및 지역민을 위한 민족문화보급의 현장이 될 수 있는 근본적인 계획상의 재구성을 모색하여 대학박물관의 기능에 부합되는 합리적인 실내공간모델을 제시하여 대학교육의 내실과 나아가 사회, 문화적 발전에 기여코자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구논문의 진행과정 및 계획상의 특징을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학의 문화시설로서의 문제제기와 더불어 연구의 목적 및 연구방법과 범위를 설정하였으며, 기존의 문헌과 자료를 고찰함으로서 본 연구를 위한 기본자료를 수집하고 이론적 고찰에 의해 대학박물관의 기능 및 특성을 파악하였다. 둘째, 기존 실내공간의 실체를 파악하기 위하여 현황을 조사하였으며, 설문지 작성을 통하여 사회적, 심리적, 환경미학적 측면등-다각적인 측면에서 분석·평가하였다. 셋째, 조사된 기존의 문헌, 자료와 현황분석결과 도출된 문제점을 기초로 하여 실내공간 계획을 위한 기본요소들 즉, 전시방법, 전시동선 물리적 환경계획, 디자인요소 계획등에 관한 내용을 전개하였다. 넷째, 실내공간계획은 대학박물관의 질적인 향상과 목적에 따른 합리적인 방법으로 실내의 이미지를 높일 수 있는 즉, 실내공간과 전시방법을 적절히 이용함으로서 내부를 구성하는 디자인적 요소를 통합하는 과정으로 효과적인 실내공간을 창출, 합리적이고 다양한 공간 구성효과를 나타낼 수 있는 미적인 쾌적함을 추구하고자 하였다. 다섯째, 결론으로서 대학박물관의 실내공간은 관람자와 전시물이 밀접하게 상호관련되어 있으므로 실내공간의 개선을 위해서는 대학박물관에 대한 관람자의 관심과 기능적이고, 합리적인 실내공간의 질서확립이 병행되어야 할 것이다.
