유스호스텔 環境디자인에 關한 硏究

Abstract

Presently, the pattern of living and way of thinking have been changed by rise of economic standard. Especially, the desire for the contact to the nature is increasing day by day due to the urbanization and the industrialization. At this point, it is matter of common knowledge that the place for need of the youth is being altered, because man's behavior is response as apposed to stimuli of surroundings. As the adolescent is period which has been completed physically and mentally, the youth need special facilities for recreation travel, training, and so on. Youth hostel means building for lodging as well as whole environment to rise youth's cultural level. In accordance with a need of the time, society, functional and aesthetic environment of Youth hostel is requested as a leisure space and a field of education for the youth. Therefore, the am of this study is not only to create the environment of Youth hostel, so that youth may make use of their leisure time, but also as a result to induce to social and cultural development. To achieve desirable environment, it must introduce the concept of total design which unites the physical factors and spiritual ones, to organic system, artistic dimension above technical level, and then the interior design conbines exterior harmoniously. This study is organized as follows. Chapter Ⅰ: At the very first beginning this chapter raises a demand for Youth hostel as a social issue and exposed the aims of this study. And the range and the 'method' of this research are limited and set up here, This also systemized the process of this study and design. Chapter Ⅱ: In this chapter, the concepts and the characteristics of the Youth hostel are investigated and defined. Chapter Ⅲ: First of all, the present situations of the Youth hostel are considered in order to exactly understand the problems in Youth hostel So, they are compared with the theory which is mentioned in Chapter Ⅱ. Chapter Ⅳ: This chapter sets up the design criteria by means of Inter-disciplinary approach, That is, they consist of three theoretical aspect, sociological, physical and environmental aesthetics. Chapter Ⅴ: In the first place, the selection of site is assumed at Mt. Chun-Ma of which the local condition is fit for Surrounding of Youth hostel. And then, based on the scientific and aesthetical background of Chapter Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, a design of Youth hostel environment, ultimate concern of this study, takes concrete shape. For architecture and interior are formed of interrelationship with the concept of organic, universal, standardized space, the whole design has expressed absolute beauty. Chapter Ⅵ: In conclusion, the result from this study is as followed. Through integration of nature, men and space, Youth hostel environment is created as the base of Youth's Culture, so it must be spiritual and comfort. Thus, this study is expected to be moment to increase recognition about the Youth hostel, develop the youth's culture, moreover make a contribution to promote of the human life in quality.;디자인이란 實用目的을 갖는 美的 造形이라 정의되며, 따라서 建築디자인은 人間 社會의 生活空間을 창조하는 藝術的 活動이라 할 수 있다. 人間과 自然, 그리고 空間은 循環關係와 函數關係를 가지고 서로 相互作用함으로써, 直接的으로 또는 間接的으로 人間의 本質과 그 運命에 決定的인 무대를 제공하게 된다. 따라서 建築分野의 探究는 人間을 대상으로 한다는 관점에서 社會科學 人門科學 계통의 많은 要素를 包含하고 있으며, 構造物이라는 점에서 自然科學이 必要하며, 아름다와야 한다는 뜻에서 藝術性이 要求된다. 本 硏究는 有機的인 體係로서의 璟境 全體를 技術的 영역을 초월하여 藝術的차원으로 끌어올림에 있어, 그 論題를 現在 靑少年 社會敎育의 場으로서, 그리고 레저시설로서 時代的 ·社會的인 요청이 되고있는 '유스호스텔'로 설정하여 이것의 室內 ·外 環境을 조화된 통합으로 이룸을 목표로 한다. 이와같은 목표를 晋遍的인 槪念으로 독창적이고 아카데믹하게 실행가능한 形態로 결합시키는 데에 있어, 그 範圍는 理論的인 근거하에 정립된 디자인 基準 (design criteria)으로부터 타당성 있는 硏究過程을 거쳐 이에 결과된 代案을 제시하는 것까지로 한다. 本 硏究를 소개하면 다음과 같이 要約될 수 있다. 첫째, 부여된 自然條條件과 社會文化 環境에 대한 올바른 이해와 시대의 흐름을 배경으로 한 藝術的 價値證系를 이루기 위하여 學際間의 接近 (Inter-Disciplinary Approach) 方式을 취함으로써 디자인의 근거를 마련하고 둘째, 外部와 內部空間의 均衡과 調和, 時 聖의 連續性(sequence)과의 결합, 또한 人間의 知覺心理와의 융합을 시도하며 독특하고 유동적인 室內外 環境을 이룬다. 셋째, 디자인 결과에 대한 適合性 興否에 대해, 디자인 全過程을 종합하여 이를 客觀性을 가진 인자에 의해 피드백(feed back)함으로써 그에 대한 評價를 시도한다. 이와같은 방법으로 이 硏究過程 전체가 타당한 論理體係로 이루어졌음을 論證하고 디자인의 궁극목표인 그 속에서 삶을 갖는 人間들에게 質的인 環境을 제공하는 可能性을 제시한다. 따라서 본 硏究는 새로운 靑少年 文化의 근거지로서 정신적이며 쾌적한 環境을 마련함에 그 意義가 있으며, 이에 의해 人間과 空間과 時代精神의 關係 속에서 그 지역에 특수한 것, 유니크 한 것으로서 우리 社會의 要求에 부응할 수 있는 것이 되리라 본다.
