현대 실내공간에서의 한국전통가구 활용실태에 관한 연구

Abstract

인간이 환경을 좀 더 쾌적하고 안락하게 영위하려는 추구는 인류의 역사와 더불어 시작되었다고 볼 수 있다. 특히 고도의 기계문명과 생활환경이 개선되어진 근래에는 그 주거공간의 창조가 새로운 이슈(ISSUE)로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 우리시대에 알맞은 주거공간의 계획은 새로운 시대적 조류와 생활에 알맞도록 대선 및 발전이 필요한 것이다. 본 논문은 이러한 시대적 조건과 요구에 부응하면서도 우리의 전통적 가치관이나 역사성이 배제되지 않고 현대 실내디자인에 있어 하나의 새로운 방법으로, 우리 고유의 전통가구를 현대의 주거공간에 도입함으로서 발생되는 새로운 창조적인 조화를 기대하며, 현대 주거공간내에서 전통가구가 어떻게 활용되고 있는 가를 조사, 분석하여 한국 전통가구를 실내디자인 요소로써 미와 기능의 결합체로 적용하여 격조있고 아름다운 실내환경을 이루고저 하는 데에 그 의의를 두며, 올바른 활용방안을 제시하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 문헌고찰 및 현황조사로 진행시켰다. 연구의 내용은, Ⅱ장의 현대 및 한국 전통주택의 실내공간의 개념과 특성을 고찰함으로서 Ⅲ장의 이론적 접근이 가능하였으며 한국 전통가구의 특성은 주로 조형미에 중점을 두고 조사하였고 전통가구의 역할은 조형적인 측면, 기능적 실용의 측면, 사회적인 심리의 측면등으로 나누어 분석되었다. 이러한 이론적인 분석에 의해 Ⅳ장의 현황조사가 이루어졌으며 현대 주거공간에서의 한국 전통가구의 활용의 문제점은, 1. 실내마감재료와의 조화 2. 전통가구의 위치 3. 타 가구와의 관련성 4. 활용의 유형 등으로 분석하여 올바른 활용방안을 제시할 수 있다고 판단되었다.;The human's persuit for fresh and comfortable environment has its origin with the history of the human. Especially, very recently, the creation of space for residence has been a great Issue toward improving Living environment in developed machinary culture. In the point of above-mentioned situations, plans for improving living space which is available in these days must meet the flow of new generation and living environment. This study of new method for modern interior design which is tried to introduce our unique and traditional furniture into the space for present residence meet not only the current thought of the times but also our traditional value system of the value and the trace of the history. Also, this study was investigated how traditional furniture can be used on modern space for residence. This thesis consists of six chapters. Chapter Ⅰ describes the purpose, range and method for this study. Chapter Ⅱ studies characteristics of the living space of modern and traditional houses. Chapter Ⅲ studies the characteristics of traditional based on the formal beauty. Also, the role of the traditional furniture is analy sized in formal beauty, functional usage, and social mentality in this chapter. Chapter Ⅳ studies the situation for usage of traditional furniture on modern interior space through a case study and investigation. Chapter Ⅴ describes analysis and evaluation of the situation of the usage for traditional furniture. Finally, chapter Ⅵ concludes with building up this study of the dissertation.
