현실적 소재를 통한 조형성 연구

Abstract

造形藝術에서 새로운 理念이 필연적으로 요구되려면 이를 위한 感覺的·知的側面에서의 平衡이 존재해야 하며, 그것들의 技能이 종합적으로 적용될 수 있도록 구성되어야 한다. 그러므로 藝術은 感覺的側面만을 강조하는 形式主義者들의 創作活動도 아니며, 그렇다고 政治的·社會的·心理的 理念을 위한 內容主義者들의 도구만도 아닌 것이다. 즉 藝術家는 作品 創作 過程에서 두 가지의 서로 다른 측면인 內容과 形式을 調和시킴으로서 生命力있고 深度있는 作品을 제작할 수 있는 것이다. 이러한 觀點에서 제작된 本人의 작품은 現實에 대한 認識에서 이뤄진 現實的 素材로서 노동하는 모습이나 생활주변의 情況을, 東洋畵의 傳統樣式인 水墨을 通하여 現代的 美感에 一致하도록 표현하였다. 아울러 製作 過程에서는 水墨藝術의 技法的인 面과 精神的 格調를 중시하면서 새로운 表現의 方向을 模索하려 하였다. 本 考의 主題設定의 정신적 배경은 朝鮮 後期의 實學思想이고 이에 관한 史的 고찰과 이에 부여된 표현 양식으로서의 水墨畵에 대하여 그 특성을 연구하였다. 造形的 硏究로서는 造形言語인 線과 餘白, 潑墨이 갖는 정신과 조형성에 대해 알아보고 이를 本人 作品과 연관시켜 설명하였으며, 마지막으로 作品의 製作動機와 表現方法을 分析해 나감으로써 앞으로의 造形活動에 도움이 되고자 한다.;For the introduction of any new ideology, the equilibrium of a sense and intelligence must exist and their functions must be composed to be applied synthetically. Artists will produce vital and profound works by a combination of content and form. In this point, the works of this paper are tried to express the real life matters, i.e., the muscle laborers and other life miscellanies. Additionally, the agreement with a mordern sense of beauty is attempted through the major conventional oriental painting instrument, chinese-ink. In the working process, the technical aspects of chinese-ink arts and the mental dignities are emphasized and a new orientation of expressions is proposed. Sil-hak, as a spiritual background of this paper, is investigated historically for the search of the peculiar characteristic of the chinese-ink paintings. Finally, the relationships between the plastic languages-line, blank space and spread of chinese-ink-and the works of this thesis is explained. For the further plastic art activities, working motivations and other art technics are analyzed.
