Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Debussy에 관한 소고

Abstract

이 논문은 본 연구자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업독주회의 연주곡목인 모짜르트의 피아노변주곡 K. 573, 베토벤의 소나타 Op. 109, 슈만의 사육제 Op. 9, 그리고 드뷔시의 영상 제Ⅱ집의 3곡을 연구함으로써 각 작품의 올바른 해석과 바람직한 연주에 도움이 되고자 한 것이다. 모짜르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart : 1756~1791)는 고전주의 음악의 생성발전과 완성에 기여한 작곡가로 그의 피아노 변주곡 K. 573은 고전파의 통례대로 주제의 윤곽은 그대로 두고 음형장식을 주로한 작품이다. 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven : 1770~1827)은 고전주의의 완성과 함께 낭만주의 음악으로 교량역할을 한 작곡가이다. 그의 피아노 쏘나타 Op. 109는 말기의 5개의 피아노 소나타중 하나로 환상곡풍 느낌의 제 1악장과 스케르쪼 성격을 가지는 제 2악장, 그리고 변주곡 형식의 제 3악장으로 구성된다. 특히 3악장에서는 Canon적 모방수법 대위기법, 많은 Pedal사용, 긴 드릴등의 후기 피아노 소나타의 특징이 두드러진다. 슈만(Robert Schumann : 1810~1856)은 전기 낭만파 작곡가의 한사람으로 사육제(Carnaval) Op. 9는 표제악적 모음곡 형식으로 작곡된 그의 대표작 작품 중 하나이다. 드뷔시(Claude Debussy : 1862~1918)는 인상파 음악의 창시자로 그의 원숙기에 작곡된 영상 제Ⅱ집의 3곡은 각각 회화적인 표제를 가지며 모호한 조성, 5음 음계, 온음 음계, 비화성음 등을 자유롭게 환상적인 분위기를 묘사했다.;This thesis is intended to help proper understanding and desirable performance through study of each of the works, W. A. Mozart's Piano Variations K. 573, L.v. Beethoven's Piano sonata Op.109, R. Schumann's Carnaval op. 9 and C. Debussy's three works in his Images Ⅱ, which are the present writer's repertoire of graduation performance for completing the master's course. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) is a composer who contributed to classicism its coming into being, development and completion. His piano Variations K. 573 are the pieces which left the outline of theme and ornamented it with melody for the most part as is usually the case with classicism. Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) played a bridge role to Romanticism with completion of classicism. His piano sonata Op. 109, one of 5 sonatas composed in his late period, consist of the first movement which has the impression of fantasia style, the second movement of scherzo feature and the third movement which Character Variation form. Especially, the third movement shows the characteristic feature of late-term piano sonata with imitation technique of canon, contrapuntal technique, long trill and frequent use of pedal. Robert Schumann(1810-1856) is one of the earlier romanticism musician and his Carnaval Op. 9 is one of masterpieces which composed in program music form. Claude Debussy (1862-1918), an originator of impressionism music, well expressed Oriental sound and fantastic atmosphere with dissonant chord, obscure tonality and diatonic scale in his Images Ⅱ which composed in his mature term and has pictorial program.
