정서장애아 판별에 있어서 평정자의 편견에 관한 일연구

Abstract

본 硏究의 目的은 情緖障碍兒童 判別道具인 Bower -Lambert Scales의 敎師評定과 同僚評定 結果에 敎師나 同僚의 偏見이 작용하는지를 밝히고, 이의 標準化를 위한 기틀을 마련하는데 있다. 硏究의 問題로서 Bower-Lambert Scales의 敎師評定과 Schutz의 對人關係 性向理論에서의 對人的 適合性간의 關係를 조사하고 또, 同僚評定과 對人的 適合性간의 關係를 밝히고자 한다. 본 硏究의 對象은 국민학교 5, 6학년에 在學 中 인 兒童 890名과 學級 擔任敎師 16名으로, Bower-Lambert Scales의 敎師評定과 同僚評定, 그리고 Schutz의 對人關係 性向檢査 成人用質問紙와 兒童用質問紙를 사용하여 각 評定과 適合性간의 相關關係를 살펴보았다. 硏究 結果 얻어진 結論은 다음과 같다. 정서장애자 判別에 있어서 Ⅰ-1. 교사평정과 호혜적 적합성간에는 有意한 相關이 없었다. Ⅰ-2. 동료평정과 호혜적 적합성간에는 有意한 相關이 없었다. Ⅱ-1. 교사평정과 주도적 적합성간에는 有意한 相關이 없었다. Ⅱ-2. 동료평정과 주도적 적합성간에는 有意한 相關이 없었다. Ⅲ-1. 교사평정과 교환적 적합성간에는 有意한 相關이 있었다. Ⅲ-2. 동료평정과 교환적 적합성간에는 有意한 相關이 없었다. 이로써 교사는 아동의 문제 행동을 판단할때 교환적 적합성에서 偏見의 가능성을 보이나, 동료들의 판단은 어느 적합성에서도 편견이 작용하지 않았음이 밝혀졌다. 따라서 情緖障碍兒 判別에 있어서, 敎師評定의 결과는 교사와 아동사이에 존재하는 교환적 적합성을 고려하여 해석되어야 하며, 정확한 判別이 되기 위하여 Bower의 주장대로 다른 評定結果와 아울러, 보완적으로 사용되어져야 한다.;This study aimed to find out the effect of the interpersonal compatibility on the results of Behavior Rating of Pupils and A Class Play in Bower-Lambert Scales. For the purpose of this study, 16 classes of the 5th and 6th grade of elementary schools were selected as a sample which was consisted of 890 children and 16 teachers. "Behavior Rating of Pupils (teacher rating) and A Class Play (peer rating) were used to judge mental health problem of children. FIRO-B (adult form) and FIRO-BC (children's from) designed by Schutz (1977) were administered to measure inter-personal compatibility. For statistic analysis of the date, pearson's product-moment correlation coefficients were computed. The results were as follows: In the identification of the emotionally disturbed children, Ⅰ-1. There is no significant correlation between Behavior Rating of Pupils and Reciprocal Compatibility (rK). Ⅰ-2. There is no significant correlation between A Class Play and Reciprocal Compatibility. Ⅱ-1. There is no significant correlation between Behavior Rating of Pupils and Originator Compatibility (oK). Ⅱ-2. There is no significant correlation between A Class Play and and Originator Compatibility. Ⅲ-1. There is significant correlation at the p<.01 level be-tween Behavior Rating of Pupils and Interchange Com-patibility (χK). Ⅲ-2. There is no significant correlation between A Class Play and Interchange Compatibility. In conclusion, the teacher-perception of problem behavior showed the possibility of bias in interchange compatibility, but that of peer did not show the possibility of bias in any com-patibility. Thus, the results of this study can suggest that Bower-Lambert Scales should be used together complementarily to control rater's bias and acquire accurate judgement.
