Abstract
제2차 世界大戰後 抽象美術은 의식의 전도 및 가치관의 혼돈에 의해, 藝術의 槪念 및 表現方法에서도 근본적으로 다시 생각하게 되었다. 이러한 時代的인 배경에서 抽象美術은 造形的 확립과 개성적 表現을 강조하는 새로운 ism들을 탄생시켰다. 1, 2차 世界大戰을 거치면서 抽象美術의 양상은 理知的 성향의 幾何的 抽象과 感性的 성향의 서정적 抽象의 커다란 흐름을 形成해 왔다. 또한 物에 대한 인간의지의 급격한 변모를 초래한 바 오토마티즘의 기법으로 物의 이미지化 보다는 그린다고 하는 행위에 중점을 두는 全面均質繪畵(All over painting)에서 色面繪畵(Colorfield painting)에로 발전된다. 그후 새로운 동향의 美術을 탄생시키려는 의도가 일어났는데 槪念的 要素를 지니고 있으면서, 불필요한 要素를 제거하고 本質的인 핵심으로 단순화시켜 表現하려는 이른바 Minimal Art, Monochrome으로 이어지면서 계속 전개된다. 本 論文에서는 이러한 純粹造形繪畵를 바탕으로 하여 自然對象에서 表出된 形象性을 基本으로 空間을 面 분할 함으로 繪畵全體를 構造的으로 探究하여 自然의 서정적 이미지를 나타내 보려 하였다. 理論的 기반으로는 內容的인 面에서 강렬한 色彩의 사용으로 對象간의 거리를 없애고 平面化시킨후 自然對象을 해체하여 繪畵에 3차원적 空間을 形成시킨 Henri Matiss(1869~1954)와 現代美術의 平面性을 예견함으로써 平面의 立體化를 시도한 Ben Nicholson(1894~1982)의 世界를 硏究하였으며 方法的인 面에서는 Matisse에게서 많은 영향을 받아 1967년부터 광활한 특성소재를 抽象풍경화한 Richard Dibenkorn을 근거로 本人의 제작방법과 비교 분석하였다. 이러한 硏究를 통하여 本人의 작품제작 과정에서 理論과 실재를 결부시키고 畵面의 構造的 硏究와 표현기법의 가능성을 追究해 나가며 繪面의 基本的 가치관을 정립하고자 한다.;The abstract arts, since the World War Ⅱ, have been reconsidered in the concept of art and method of expression thereof because of the conversion of consciousness and confusion of viewpoint of value. In the background of this age, the abstract arts gave birth to the establishment of the moulding nature and isms which stress the establishment of the plasticity and individual expression. Through the World War Ⅰ and Ⅱ, the aspect of the abstract arts established the geometric abstraction with the intellectual inclination and lyric abstraction with the sensible inclination. Also, the drastic change of the will of the human being toward the outer World has been resulted, and from the all over painting which stresses the painting as the technique of automatism rather than the imaginization of the outer World to the colorful painting. After that, the intention of giving birth to the arts of new trend happened, and the Minimal Art, Monochrome which is aimed at eliminating the unnecessary factor even with the conceptual factor and expressing simply the thing as an essential core. In this thesis, on the basis of such a simplified plastic art, with the basic figuration expressed in the natural object, I was tried to express the lyric image after searching for the canvas as a whole systematically by dividing the space. As the theoretical basis, the study was made on the world of Henri Matisse(1869-1954) who eliminated the distance between the objects by using the strong color and planenization and formed the three-dimensional object (space) on the canvas and dispersed the natural object and Ben Nicholson (1894-1982) who foresaw the plane nature of the modern art and tried to realize the stereo-graphy of the plane in contents, and on the basis of Richard Diebenkorn who was much influenced by Matisse and made the characteristic material of the spacious environment abstract in canvas. The method of forming the work of mine was compared and analyzed with that of Richard Diebenkorn. Through such a study, in the process of making my works, the theory and practice were connected, and I intended to pursue the structural study of the canvas and the possibility of the expressive technique, and to establish the basic viewpoint of the painting.
