여성사회교육기관의 교육내용에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to grasp overall educational Contents according to various leading educational institutes, and to investigate into their educational goals analyistically, in pursuit of a theological foundation in understanding of how our Nonformal education for women can be profiled in terms of its purposefully assorted contents. Theological investigations were conducted through a study of foreign and domestic literaries in which necessity, purpose and useful contents of nonformal education for women were involved, and, thereby, such three differentiated purposes as improvement of ability, self-fulfillment and promotion in social relationships and advance and positive engagement in social activities could be extracted. For the selection of institutes for considering, four kinds of profiles were assumed, that is, government leading style, non-profits-pursuing civil institute leading style, university leading style and profits pursuing civil institute leading style. And their each educational purpose were seeked from analyses of their contents, and which served understanding of what are the educational goals which are oriented and directed, as of now, by the institutes of nonformal education for women. Outcomes from these are as follows: 1. Institute leaded by the government provides mainly the vocation-preparational education for the improvement of utility in individual labor. 2. The type leaded by a non-profits-pursuing civil institute puts heavy gravity on the implementation of vocational, cultural and recreational education, and also, provides such subsidiary contents as to facilitiate social activities. 3. For the university leading type, most of education is concentrated on the cultrual education and occupational re-qualification for the improvement of individual quality. 4. Contents for the fulfillment of needs as a female individual mainly consists of those of profits pursuing civil institute leading type, being added also by the education for qualititive improvement. To sum up, mainly the contents for individual qualititive improvement or fulfillment of individual needs by utilization of spare time are, as of now, being provided by institutes of nonformal education for women, but most of them lack the contents appropriate for the development of organizations or communities that is, those for the positive engagement in social activities.;본 연구는 여성 사회교육의 목적별 교육내용을 기초로 하여 교육 주도 기관에 따라 교육내용을 파악하고 각 주도기관별로 교육목적을 분석적으로 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 여성 사회교육의 전개과정, 필요성, 목적 및 교육내용은 국내외의 문헌연구를 통하여 이론적으로 고찰하고, 이를 토대로 여성 사회교육의 목적에 따른 교육내용을 파악하였다. 여성 사회교육기관의 선정은 교육을 주도하고 있는 기관별로 유형화하고 (정부주도형, 민간자원단체주도형, 대학주도형, 언론기관주도형) 각 유형별로 기관을 선정한 후, 목적별 교육내용 의하여 교육내용을 분류하여 교육목적을 파악함으로써, 현재 여성 사회교육기관이 지향하고 있는 교육목적을 각 유형을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 여성 사회교육기관의 교육내용분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 정부주도형은 여성 개인의 자질향상을 위한 직업준비 교육에 중점을 두고 있다. 2. 민간자원단체주도형은 여성의 자질을 향상하고 여가를 활용하여 개인의 요구를 충족하기 위한 교육과 사회적인 활동에 적극적으로 참여하기 위한 활동이 병행되고 있다. 3. 대학주도형은 여성 개인의 자질 향상을 위한 교양교육과 직업재교육을 제공하고 있다. 4. 언론기관주도형은 여성 개인의 요구충족을 위한 교육내용에 편중되어 있다. 이상과 같이 현재 여성 사회교육기관에서는 개인의 자질을 향상하거나 요구를 충족하기 위한 교육내용을 위주로 하여 교육을 주도하고 있다. 따라서 사회적인 측면에서 사회활동에 적극적으로 참여를 하기 위한 교육에 대해서는 소극적이라고 할 수 있다.
