The purpose of this study was to analyse effects of maximal exercise on both human body's aerobic power and the level of blood glucose and plasma free fatty acid used as a source of energy as well as to find physiological and biochemical adaptation patterns to exercise, which ran be applied as a material for exercise planning on the sites of sports. Fourteen middle school girls were divided into too groups by equal number, and worked by gradual load method. And the results are as follows. 1. Maximal oxygen uptake per a kg.minute showed significant differrence between athletes of 48.45±4.40ml/kg. min and non-athletes of 40.50±4.27m1/kg.min. (P 〈0.01) 2. Maximal heart rates recorded 196.8±7.49 beats/min in athletes and 206.63±2.22 beats/min in non-athletes respectively, rㄷvealing difference of 9.83 beats/min (P 〈 0.01). 3. Maximal ventilation volumes were higher in athletes (64.90±7.71/min) than in non-athletes (58.19±5.91 ℓ/min.). 4. Maximal respiratory rates were higher in non-athletes (62.39±7.48 freq/min) than in athletes (56.4±8.22 freq/mlin.) 5. O_(2)pulse showed significant difference between athletes (12.88±1.40 ml/beat) and non-athletes (9.72± ml/beat) ( P 〈0.001). 6. Respiratory Quotient were 1.002±0.031 in non-athletes and 1.035±0.041 in athletes respectively. 7. Blood glucose concentration of non-athletes recorded 89.77±14.27 mg/ℓ before exercise and increased to 117.94±17.92 mg/ℓ by maximal exercise (P <0.01). That of athletes increased from 96.73±7.07 mg/ℓ to 145.69±11.14 mg/ℓ by maximal exercise (P <0.001). So the increasing rate of glucose showed significant difference between both groups, (P < 0.01). 8. Plasma free fatty acid concentration of non-athletes recorded 505.86±175.80㎌q/ℓ before exercise and increased to 512.36±79.32㎌q/ℓ by maximal exercise. That of athletes increased from 220.96±72.97㎌q/ℓ to 355.73±101.64㎌q/ℓ by maximal exorcise (P < 0.05).;최대주행운동시 여중생의 유산소 능력 및 에너지원으로 이용되는 혈당 (blood glucose)과 혈중유리지방산 (plasma free fatty acid: FFA)의 농도변화를 규명하고저, 7명씩 임의로 추출한 비선수군과 선수군 14명을 대상으로 하여 점증부하법에 의해 exhaustion될 때까지 운동을 시킨 후 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 체중당 최대산소섭취 량 (VO_(2) maX)은 비선수군, 선수군 각각 40.50±4.27㎖/㎏ㆍmin, 48.45±4.40㎖/㎏ㆍmin으로 두집 단간에 유의한 차가 나타났다(p<0.01). 2. 최대심박수(Max RR)는 비선수군이 206.63±2.22beats/min, 선수군이 196.8±7.49beats/min으로 선수군이 9.83beats/min 낮았다( P<0.01). 3. 최대분시환기량(max V_(E))은 비선수군이 58.19±5.91ℓ/min, 선수군이 64.90±7.77ℓ/min으로 선수군에서 크게 나타났다. 4. 최대호흡수(max RR)는 비선수군, 선수군 각각 62.39±7.48freq/min, 56.4±8.22freq/min으로 비선수군의 호흡수가 않았다. 5. 산소맥 (O_(2)pulse)은 비선수군이 9.72±0.71㎖/beat 선수군이 12,88±1.40㎖/beat로 두집 단간에 유의한 차가 나타났다(p<0.01). 6. 호흡상(Respiratory Quotient; RQ)은 비선수군, 선수군 각각 1.002±0.031, 1.035±0.041로 나타났다. 7. 혈당(blood glucose)농도는 비선수군은 안정시 89.8±15.31㎎/ℓ였으며, 운동후 117.94±17.92㎖/ℓ로 31.34% 증가하였고(P<0.01)선수군은 안정시 96.73±7.07mg/ℓ에서 운동후 145.69±11.14mg/ℓ로 50.62% 증가하였으며(P<0.001), 두집단의 증가된 혈당치 간에도 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<0.001). 8. 혈중유리지방산(plasma free fatty acid, FFA) 농도는 비선수군이 안정시 506.86±175. 80 Eq/ℓ에서 운동후 512.36±79.32 Eq/ℓ로 증가하였고 선수군은 안정시 220.96±72.97Eq/ℓ에서 운동후 355.73±101.64Eq/ℓ로 60.99% 증가하였으나(P<0.05)집단간에 유의한 차는 나타나지 않았다.
