오피스 환경 개선을 위한 실내 환경 디자인 및 그 과정에 관한 연구

Abstract

Presently we live in an era described as a great turning point in history and culture. And definitely after some ten years a new informative society based on new social, economic structure will be firmly rooted and new pattern of human activities will, consequently, widely be developed. This recent technological development has changed the socio-economic structure to a great extent in terms of its basis and pattern alike, and has formed a new frame of production and management skill, using information as a good device. It is no exaggeration that the corresponding progress in office automation has given considerable impact on managerial pattern of enterprise. Thus it is widely accepted that the role of an office facility has been changing in such rapidity that the concept of it should be understood in a more comprehensive way. This study has been carried out from a viewpoint which conceive comprehensively and totally, the future business office as "a place where men and machinery coexist, using a language called 'efficiency' and pleasure." To achieve the goal of design, activities of problem solving, the reorganization of planning process has been attempted by analyzing the interactions of factors which comprise a business office environment, in multi-disciplinary approach, since this might be possible only by understanding an environment as a system. It was hoped that a proposed model of a business office as a result of this study which delineated the efficient and healthy examples of working environment on better quality, will be able to contribute, in the end, to the future cultured economic, social development. The summarized design process and content's of this study are as follows: 1. The background and goal of this study was discussed through the identification of existing problems in business office design. 2. Theoretical information for this study was collected and analyzed multi-disciplinarily. Existing reference on office automation, and planning as criticised for the education of a new concept in office design. 3. State-of Art of office facilities was surveged by way of evaluating the appropriateness of the variables influencing the composition of office environment in terms of their interrelationship and function with a view to social, physiological, aesthetical aspects. 4. Information management office automation and office work, ergonomic requirements, physical environment, safety were the preliminary planning factors emerged out of identified problems above. 5. Design should allow the freedom of interaction between two different sides of thought; viz. science vs. art, objective vs. subjective definition, reasoning vs. perception, mechanical vs. constitutional structures, and finally reality vs. ideal, and should affirm the quality of an environment with a qualtitative measure. Therefore unified concept was hired in synthesizing the ideal environment of a business office in which spaces aim to be functional, image co-operative, and forstering humane life. 6. In conclusion, various problems developed out of business office environment are, considering the influence of it upon people working in it so much interrelated and intergrated that they will only be answered by means of rules which should be laid down in the context of the system and hierarchy of the users, the machinery and the environment.;우리들은 지금 커다란 역사적·문명적 전환기에 살고 있다. 그리고, 이제 10여년 후로 다가온 21세기에는 틀림없이 새로운 사회·경제구조를 기반으로 한 정보사회가 뿌리를 내리고, 이에 적합한 인간활동이 전개될 것이다. 지난 수년간의 기술혁신은 사회경제적 기반과 양상을 고도의 차원으로 변혁시켜왔으며, 생산방법과 경영환경에 있어서도 첨단기술에 의한 정보를 핵으로 삼는 새로운 기틀을 조성시켰다. 이에 부응한 OA(Office Automation：이하 OA라 약칭)의 진전은 기업경영에 커다란 임팩트를 부여했다해도 결코 과언이 아닐 것이다. 따라서 오피스가 수행하여야하는 역할도 크게 변화되어지고 있어 오피스를 종합적으로 받아들여야 하는 시기에 이르렀음을 통감하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구논문에서는 앞으로의 오피스를 「인간과 기기가 효율성을 가지고 쾌적하게 공생해 나가는 장」으로 인식하는 포괄적이고 전체적인 관점에서 출발하였다. 사무환경의 문제를 해결하기위해 이를 하나의 시스템으로 보고, 다학문적인 접근방범을 통해 그 시스템안에서 상호작용하고 있는 제 구성요소와 그 관련성을 조사·분석·문제의 해결 행위라는 디자인의 궁극적인 목표 달성을 위한 근본적인 계획상의 재구성을 모색하고자 하였다. 그 결과로 인간과 기기가 공생하는, 조화이룬 질서 있고 합리적인 사무환경의 모델을 제시하여, 그것으로써 사무환경의 질적인 개선과 더불어 사무종사자들에게 건강하고 쾌적한 심신의 안정과 능률적인 사무효과를 올릴 수 있도록하고, 나아가서는 사회적·경제적·문화적 발전에 기여코자 하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구논문의 진행과정 및 디자인상의 특징을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적 이슈로서의 문제제기와 더불어 연구의 배경·목적을 밝히고, 연구대상 및 범위를 설정하고, 연구의 진행과정과 디자인 방법을 체계화 하였다. 둘째, 기존의 문헌과 자료를 다학문적 접근 방식을 통하여 고찰함으로써 본 연구를 위한 기본자료를 수집하고, 이론적 고찰에 의해 오피스와 OA와 플래닝의 개념과 특성을 파악하였다. 세째, 기존 사무환경의 실체를 파악하기위해 현황을 조사·분석하였다. 사무환경을 구성하고 있는 요소들을 세분하여 기능 및 상호관련성을 사회적·심리적·생리적·환경미학적 측면 등 다각적인 측면에서 분석하여 적합성 여부를 평가하였다. 네째, 조사된 기존의 문헌 및 자료와 현황분석 결과 도출된 문제점을 기초로 하여 , 디자인 상의 개념적 들을 정립하기 위한 기본 계획 요소들을 제시하였다. 즉, 정보관리·OA와 오피스워크·인간공학·디자인 요소·물리적 환경계획·안전 대책등에 관한 내용을 전개하였다. 다섯째, 디자인은 이상과 현실의 상호관계에서 자유를 지속시켜 나가야 한다. 또한 측정해서 알 수 있는 요소로부터 측정해서 알 수 없는 질을 형성하여야 한다. 즉, 과학과·예술·객관성과 주관성·이성과 감성·기계적인 것과 제도적인것·이론적인 것과 실제적인 것이라는 이원론을 정상적으로 유지시킬 때 성공할 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 사무환경의 질적 향상과 목적에 따른 합리적인 환경 조성을 위하여 기능공간·C.Ⅰ. (Corporate Identity ) 공간·생활공간으로서의 요소를 이상적으로 합일시키는 통합디자인의 개념하에 이를 전개하였다. 여섯째, 사무환경 개선을 위한 디자인 및 그 과정을 통해 얻은 결론으로서, 오피스의 환경은 사무종사자에 대한 영향이 총체적이고 그것에 의해 제시되는 다양한 문제는 상호 관련되어 있으므로, 문제해결은 사무환경의 시스템안에서 사무종사자와 OA기기와 환경에 대한 질서의 확립에 의해서만이 그 극복이 가능할 것이다.
