室內裝飾材를 위한 수직물에 관한 연구

Abstract

現代에 있어서의 室內裝飾材는 새로운 감각을 다양하게 연출할 수 있으며, 實用性과 經濟性과 함께 藝術性까지도 고려되어져야 하는 매우 복합적인 요구가 그 어느 때보다도 절실하다 하겠다. 織物은 바로 이러한 요구에 부응할 수 있는 적절한 材料로서 그 本性과 特性이 매우 부드러우며 환경과 空間에도 잘 적응될 수 있는 現代의 室內裝飾材料로서 매우 탁월한 재료로 사료된다. 本 論文은 織維를 재료로 한 手織에 대한 理論的硏究와 더불어 이를 다양하게 응용하여 室內裝飾材를 위한 手織物을 직접 試織하여 그 例를 제시하는데 목적을 가졌다. 그 硏究와 製作과정은 1. 裝飾織物의 기원 및 역사적 발달과정과 手織의 매채가 되는 材料와 함께 道具와 技法등 理論的基盤을 고찰하였고 2. 手織의 製作에 있어서는 ① 平織技法을 中心으로 이를 응용하여 여러 방법으로 시도함으로서 技法의 활용을 최대로 살렸고 ② 텍스츄어가 다른 材料를 그 特性을 고려하여 여러 가지로 이용하였으며 ③ 또한 纖密度 와 色彩등을 다양하게 변화를 주어 試織하였다. 그 結果, 얻은 結論은 다음과 같다. 1. 平織技法과 그 응용識은 매우 많으며, 또한 다양하게 활용될 수 있다. 또한 經絲와 緯絲의 굵기, 꼬임, 형태, 텍스츄어에 변화를 주므로서 실용적이고 다양한 효과의 室內裝飾材用 아이템 (가구의천, 벽장식, 휘장직물, 벽지 등)의 수직물의 디자인 개발에 활용될 수 있다. 2. 색채와 섬밀도 등의 다양한 변화에 의해 경제적이고 격조 높은 분위기를 연출할 수 있는 室內裝飾材用 수직물의 아이템 (벽지, 발, 커텐, 스페이스 디바이더 (space devider)등의 제작이 가능하다. 이와 같은 시도와 결과는 실험적이고 객관성이 적은 가능성을 전혀 배제 시킬 수는 없으나 手織物의 실내장식재로서의 이용은 조형성이 높아, 他資材와는 비교할 수 없는, 새롭고, 아름다우며, 격조 높은 室內분위기를 연출할 수 있는 무한한 가능성을 갖고 있다는 결론을 얻었다. 더욱이 섬유가 수출의 20%이상을 차지하고 있는 우리나라의 현 실정을 감안한다면 실용적이고 경제적인면과 아울러 造形性높은 室內裝飾材用 手織物 개발과 연구에 한층 더 박차를 가하여져야 할 것으로 생각된다.;The materials for interior decoration of today is extremely difficult to select as it should present various different effects and at the same time should be practical, economical and artistic. Weaving, in this sense can be interpreted as a distinguished material for the interior decoration of today due to the fact that its nature and characteristic is extremely soft and can easily adjust to any space or enviornment. This thesis is based on the theoretical study of using textile as material for weaving and applying this method widely to make test weavings to introduce as materials for interior decoratives. The study and process are as follows: 1. A theoretical study was made on the materials which are a medium of the weave and on the tools and techniques. 2. In the production of the weaving: a) It was mainly based on the plain weave technique and other methods were introduced to achieve the best effect possible. b) The characteristics of different textiles with different textures were studied and used for different effects. c) The density of the textile and color were varied in the test weavings. The results attained through this method are as follows: 1) The plain weave technique and other weaves derived from it are varied and can be used for many proposes. Also by giving variations on the thickness, twist, form and texture of the warp and weft therad, it may be used to develop new designs for weavings which can be used as a practical and effective interior decoratives (such as upholsteries, weavings, drapes and wall papers, etc.) 2) Variations such as the density of colors can be used to produce interior decoratives of weaving (wall paper, screen, curtain, space-divider) which are practical yet will produce a most sophisticated atmosphere. Though this attempt and its results are experimental and may be lacking in objectivity we have come to the conclusion that the usage of weaving as a interior decorative is extremely excellent in and cannot be compared with any other material for its endless ability to produce a new, beautiful and sophisticated interior atmosphere. Furthermore taking into mind the fact that 20% of the exports of our country are textiles, we may strongly suggest that this study is practical and economical and that further studies should be made on weaving as highly interior decoratives.
