(The) Dying swan에 關한 硏究

Abstract

안나 파블로바(Anna Pavlova)는 러시아가 낳은 20C 초반이 世界 最高의 발레니라(Ballerina)이며 뛰어난 지도자중의 한 사람이다. 1891年 임페리얼 발레 스쿨(Imperial Ballet School)에 入學하여 공부한 그녀는 卒業후 마린스키 (Marinsky)극단의 Coryphe＇e(군무진의 리더)로 입단하여 불과 1년후 「白烏의 湖水(Swan Lake)」 타이틀롤을 맡았으며, 이때 유능한 발레리나로 인정받게 되었다. 그후 스톡흘름(St-ockholm), 코펜하겐 (Copengagen), 푸라하 (Prague), 베를린 (Berlin)등 여러지방에서 公演을 했으며, 1909年 파리의 차트레 (Chatelet)劇場에서 디아길레프(Diaghilev)의 발레 륏스(Ballet Russes)團員으로 公演하여 世界에서 가장 아름다운 舞踊手로 갈채를 받았다. 그후 마린스키 (Marinsky)劇場에서 활약을 하다가 자신의 단체를 만들어 20여년간 世界의 여러지역에서 순회公演을 하였다 이렇게 그러는 발레를 보기 원하는 觀衆을 위해 劇的발레를 소개하였다. 이를 통해 그녀는 첫째로 만든 사람에게 詩的 舞踊藝術을 통해 幸福을 주었으며, 둘째로 觀客을 그녀의 추종자로 만들어 발레리나를 발굴하여 양성하는데 박차를 가했으며 첫째로, 디아길레프의 제1사도로써 技巧主義에 대응하는 서정적인 美를 表現하는 스타일을 정립하였다. 이와같이 파블로바(Pavlova)의 藝術은 全世界의 발레 舞踊家, 애호가들에게 무한한 靈感의 根源으로써 남아 있으며, 아직 그 누구도 그녀만큼 「瀕死의 白鳥(The Dying Swan)」를 추는 사람이 없었다. 그녀는 이 『瀕死의 白鳥(The Dying Swan)」를 통해 身體를 빌어 表現하는 새로운 藝術 즉 줄거리가 길고 3.4막의 大作이 아닌 小品 舞踊形式의 기초를 다지는데 크게 責獻했다. 이에 그녀 藝術世界는 드디어 20C의 現代발레와 詩的발레의 기원의 장을 열었다고 하겠다.;Anna Pavlova was the most prominent Rusian ballerina in the world early 20th centry. She was educated at the school of the Imperial ballet where educational life was to enter a convent whence frivolity was banned, and whence mereciless discipline reigned and for her, intoxicating life of a widely different world, a world of art and of the stage. She left the ballet school at the age of sixteen and shorty afterwards, She was permitted to a corype´e on the stage of the Marinsky Theatre. A one year after that she played title role of "Swan Lake" and then became a prima ballerina. She danced at Stockholm, Copenhagen, Prague and Berlin everywhere her dancing was hailed as the revelation of an art so far unknown. She was famed as a mernber of Diaghilef Ballet Russes in 1909. After performance in Paris she was applauded with the most beautiful dancer in the world and then, organized her own company and gave performance to many people who had wanted to see her dancing all over the world for 20 years. By performing the ballet. 1. She made people happy by enabling them to forget for an hour the sadness of life. 2. She tried to encourage disciplines to be ballet-specialist. 3. She contributed to found modern ballet which is characterized by lyrie and poetic aesthetics. Through physical experssion of performance, "The Dying Swan", She created a new form of dancing art and inspired soul to the art. Her word was as follow. "Genuine art is matter of soul, not of technique only without soul there can be no art, but only an empty form".
