연역 질의-응답에서의 질의어 최적화에 관한 연구

Abstract

이 논문은 질의-응답 시스템에 논리 연역의 이론을 적용시켜 저장되어 있는 자료 사이의 암시적인 관계를 이용하는 연역 질의-응답 과정에서 나타나는 문제점중에서, 여러 규칙들이 연결되어 추론 계획이 작성되기 때문에 불필요하게 중복되는 릴레이션들이 생기는 문제점을 제시하고 이를 무결성 규칙을 이용해저 해결하고자 하는 방법에 의해 연구하였다. 그 내용을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 들어오는 질의어에 대해 값의 불일치성만이 아니라 규칙과의 중복성을 검사하도록 하였고, 함수적 종속 규칙과 참조 무결성 규칙의 정의에 의해 추론 계획에 포함되어 있는 릴레이션 사이에 존재하는 중복되는 릴레이션과 질의어에서 찾고자하는 답을 얻는데는 불필요하게 반복되는 과정을 제거시킴으로써 질의어를 간단히 하는 기법을 제시하였다.;This thesis presents the problems of redundant relations occurred in the deductive question-answering process where the inferential plan utilizes many rules, It proposes a method which solves the problem by integrity reules. In order: to simplify the query the proposed mechanism checks not only the Consistency of the value in the query but also the redundancy o f it comparing with the data value in the internal databases. In addition, by the definitions of the functional dependency rule and referential integrity rule it can eliminate redundant relations existing among the relations included in the proof plan and unnecessarily repeated process to obtain solutions about the query.
