韓服의 디자인 硏究

Abstract

The skirt and jacket, an integral part of woman's costume in Korea, had retained perseveringly retained its traditional style in premodern times although there have been some variations in dress and its ornaments not merely by dint of foreign influence ranging for a long period of time but by dint of excessive ornamentation in modern times. from this point of view, this study made, by the utilization of the literature, of the traces of woman's dress with emphasis on the skirt and jacket, scanning on the level of design the actual conditions of Korean costume on the basis of pictures in dress. Our Korean costume lost its practicality in premodern times, remained merely ornamentation, now results in damaging the original beauty because of excessive silhouettes, abuse of colors, and excessive ornamentation. There is a tendency that the advancement of standard of living derived from economic development in 1980s and of aesthetic consciousness requires a new evaluation of the traditional costume and seeks for its original entity of costume in Korea.;統一新羅시대 以後 中國服飾과의 二重構造속에서 發達해 온 우리의 服飾은 近代 이후에는 西洋服飾과의 二重構造를 이루다가, 現代에 이르러서는 日常服으로서의 기능을 상실하고, 特殊服, 禮服으로서 그 명맥을 維持하고 있다. 服飾은 人間生活의 한 분야로서 實用性과 裝飾性의 두 面을 지니고 있다고 볼 때, 近代이후 우리의 韓服은 實用性을 상실하고 裝飾性만을 지닌 채 現代 韓服에 이르러서는 과장된 실루엣, 색상의 남용, 裝飾의 과잉현상등으로 인하여 고유의 美를 損傷시키기도 하였다. 本考에서는 문헌을 통한 우리 服飾의 옛모습을 女服중 치마·저고리를 中心으로 살펴보고, 現代韓服의 모습을 着衣상태에서를 中心으로 디자인적 측면에서 考察하였다. 本考를 통하여 現代韓服이 裝飾의 과잉등 과도기적인 현상으로 고유의 美가 다소 손상되었다하더라도 실루엣, 色, 裝飾의 面에서 볼 때 傳統樣式에서 그다지 벗어나고 있지않음을 알 수 있으며 80년대이후는 經濟的 安定과 전반적인 生活水準의 向上에 따른 美意識의 向上등으로 傳統韓服에 대한 再評價와 함께 傳統韓服의 모습을 찾으려는 경향을 볼 수 있다.
