dc.description.abstract항방사선작용이 있다고 보고된 인삼 단백질을 Tris·Hcl 완충액으로 추출, (NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) 분별 침전, heat inactivation, Sephadex G-75 chromatography법등을 이용하여 부분 정제하였다. 여기서 얻은 세개의 분획 즉, G-Ⅰ, G-Ⅱ 및 G-Ⅲ에 대하여 sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE)를 행하여 각 분획의 band의 이동도로써 분자량을 측정하였다. SDS-PAGE결과 G-Ⅰ은 4개, G-Ⅱ는 5개 그리고 G-Ⅲ는 3개의 band를 나타내었으며, 각 band의 분자량은 G-Ⅰ은 69,800, 58,000, 50,800 및 36,000으로, G-Ⅱ는 67,000, 57,600, 48,000, 37,800 및 28,500으로, G-Ⅲ는 73,000, 69,000 및 57,000으로 측정되었다. 또한 Thin layer chromatography에 의해서 G-Ⅰ은 3개, G-Ⅱ는 3개 그리고 G-Ⅲ는 3개의 spot들이 각각 검출되었다.;Radioprotective ginseng protein has been isolated and partially purified from ginseng extract by ammonium sulfate fractionation, heat inactivation and Sephadex G-75 chromatography. Three fractions obtained were named G-Ⅰ, G-Ⅱ and G-Ⅲ. In order to determine molecular weights of polypeptide chains present in Sephadex fractions, SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and thin layer chromatography have been carried out. Results indicate that G-Ⅰ, G-Ⅱ and G-Ⅲ showed four, five and three polypeptide bands, respectively. Molecular weights of the polypeptide from G-Ⅰ fraction were estimated as 69,800, 58,000, 50,800 and 36,000 by standard protein curve. That of G-Ⅱ as 67,000, 57,600, 48,000, 37,800 and 28,500. The last G-Ⅲ fraction showed molecular weights of 73,000, 69,000 and 57,000. On the T. L. C. plate, G-Ⅰ, G-Ⅱ and G-Ⅲ showed three spots each.-
