世界패션의 흐름에 나타난 실루엣과 經濟와의 關係 硏究

Abstract

Fashion is influenced by many social environmental causes. Especially socio-economic structure and economic change in society or nation give diret influence on fashion field. They could make slow or fast change of fashion. This fact seems to be characteristic in recent society. This thesis is about the relationship between the economic change and the fashion. The purpose of this thesis is to acknowledge the fashion change influenced by economic change. For this, the economic change and the history of costume from 1910 to 1970 were analyzed and compared. As a preliminary study, several theory about the relation of fashion and economic factor were studied, And modern history of fashion and history of economics were thoroughly checked through graphs and photographs. Silhouette is composed with four components, the length of skirt, the width of skirt, waist line and shoulder line. The analises of the relationship of each components were made and them the relationship of silhouette and economy was analyzed. The results of analisis are, When it is economic depression, the skirt is long and wide. Feminine silhouette which has an accent on waist and wide shoulder is more favorable. When the economy is in good condition, the skirt is short and narrow. Tubular silhouette which don't give any accent on waist is more favorable. In this sence, it is possible to predict the fashion fellowed by prediction of economy.;패션에 影響을 미치는 여러 社會的 環境要因과 함께 한 國家나 社會의 전반적인 經濟狀態는 同時期의 패션變化를 遲廷 또는 加速化 시킨다. 이러한 傾向은 現代에 와서 두드러진 特徵으로 나타나고 있다. 本 論文은 패션에 영향을 미치는 많은 要因들 중에서도 특히 經濟變化와 패션과의 關係에 대해 分析, 그 關聯性을 把握해 보았다. 本 硏究의 목적인, 經濟變動에 따른 衣服의 變化패턴은 어떠한 것인가를 살펴보기 위해, 1910년부터 1970년까지의 經濟變動과 服飾史를 통한 Cycle 분석을 試圖하였다. 硏究方法은 먼저 豫備的 考察로서, 패션은 그 時代의 社會的 反映物이라는 名題下에 패션에 影響을 미치는 社會的 環境要因을 살펴보았고 특히 本 論文과 관련이 깊은 몇몇 學者들의 理論을 比較, 檢討하면서 本文에 접근해 나갔다. 이러한 理論的 知識을 바탕으로, 本 論文의 關係分析을 하기 위해 現代 패션史와 經濟史를 각각 文獻資料의 그래프와 寫眞을 通해 살펴 보았다. 本文의 실루엣과 經濟比較는 실루엣의 構成要素인 스커트 길이, 스커트幅, 허리線, 어깨線, 4要素로 區分하여 각각에 對한 關係를 먼저 分析한 後 結論的으로 실루엣의 關係를 綜合, 分析하였다. 分析 結果를 要約하면, 經濟가 不況일 때의 패션은 一般的으로 스커트 길이는 길고, 幅은 넓으며, 허리는 强調하고, 어깨는 넓게 强調한 女性的인 X실루엣으로 흐르는 傾向이 있다. 經濟가 好況일 때, 패션은 一般的으로 스커트 길이는 짧고, 幅은 좁으며, 허리와 어깨는 强調하지 않는 Tubular 실루엣으로 흐르는 傾向이 있다. 本 硏究를 理論的 背景으로 하여 景氣豫測에 따른 未來의 패션豫測 이 可能하리라 본다.
