나무의 이미지 形象化에 관한 연구

Abstract

인간은 본능적으로 미에 대한 추구를 계속하여 왔고 그 미적 추구가 현대에 와서는 대상의 재현적 표현이 아니라 작가의 직관적 체험을 통한 자기의 내면의식까지도 표출시키고자 하는 것이 오늘의 추세이다. 따라서 본 연구자는「나무의 이미지 형상화에 관한 연구」라는 주제를 설정하고 이를 위한 이론적 배경을 토대로 염색의 특성있는 기법으로 작품제작을 시도하려한다. 이 작품제작 과정에서 대상의 이미지를 통한 미적 체험과 표현 가능성을 찾는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 작품제작 과정에서 본 연구자가 표현하려고 했던 과제는, 첫째, 표현 대상물에서의 이미지를 전개해 나가기 위한 형식과 내용에 대한 연구 및 나무의 이미지를 상징적으로 표현하기 위한 이론적 배경 연구, 둘째, 이미지를 표현하기 위한 표현 방법의 연구, 셋째, 위의 이론적 배경을 토대로 염색 작품에 대한 분석 및 그 가능성의 모색이다. 이와같이 나무의 이미지를 형상화하여 작품제작하는 과정에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현대미술은 작가 나름의 의식에 의한 이미지의 형상화 과정에서 미적 가치를 추구한다는 것을 이해할 수 있다. 둘째, 염색 특유의 번지기에 의한 기법이 대상의 이미지 표현에 적절했다고 본다. 셋째, 나무 표면의 이미지를 표현하는 체험과정에서 새로운 구조적 이미지를 인식하게 되었다. 이와같이 염색공예의 표현은 그 소재나 기법면에서 다양하므로 우리 실생활에 활용됨으로서 무한한 가능성을 지니고 있다고 할 것이다. 따라서 작품제작을 통하여 이러한 방향의 가능성을 모색할 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.;Human being has pursued on Beauty and the pursuit on beauty as a recent trend is not the representative expression of the object, but even the appearance of artist's internal consciousness through his intuitive experience. Therefore, I estabish the theme of "study on the formation of the image of the tree" and try to form the work through the characteristic technique on the basis of the theoretical background. The aim of this research is to find the aesthetic experience and expression possibility through the image of the object in the process of the production of the work. The important contents I try to express in the process of the production of the work is as follows : First, I studied on the Formulas and contents for developing image with the object and on the theoretical background for symbolic expression of the image of the tree. Second, I studied on expression methodology for the image of the tree. Third, I analyzed the work by Batik on the basis of the above-mentioned theoretical background and searched into the possibility of this work. Like this, the results that are gained from the formation of the image of the tree in the process of work production is as follows : First, I could understand the modern art is pursuing the aesthetic value in the image formation by artist's self-consciousness. Second, I think the technique for specially spreading by Batik is very effective for the image formation of the object. Third, I came to recognize the new structural image from my experience process of expressing the image of the tree surface. Like this, I think that the expression by Batik is so various in the material and technique that it has the indefinite possibility by applying our real life.
