서울올림픽 開催에 따른 國民意識에 關한 調査硏究

Abstract

人間은 社會的 存在로서, 社會生活을 통해 삶을 營爲하고 社會속에서만 그 存在意味를 갖게된다. 人間의 모든 活動은 結局 삶을 意味있고 豊饒롭게 하고자 하는 努力이며, 이는 곧 富强한 社會, 正義롭고 秩序있는 社會, 多樣한 社會를 建設하고자 하는 努力인 것이다. 올림픽은 人間의 社會·文化的 所産이다. 따라서, 올림픽 運動의 意味는人間의 삶과 社會라는 脈絡에서 이해되어야 한다. 이러한 점에서 서울올림픽 開崔는 國民 모두에게 대단히 意味있는 것이 아닐수 없다. 이에 本 硏究는 서울올림픽의 成功的 開催의 關鍵을 國民의 參與意識이다 보고, 이에 대한 一般國民들의 意識을 調査 究明하고자 하였다. 硏究 結果 얻어진 一般國民들의 意識은 다음과 같았다. 1. 올림픽의 理念·精神을 잘 알고 있다. 2. 서울올림픽 開催는 國內外 政冶發展에 效果가 있을 것이나, 經濟的으로는 多少 후유증이 따를 것이다. 3. 서울올림픽 開催을 위한 觀光 ·文化資源은 充分하나, 이를 위해서는 公衆道德과 서비스업의 水準을 높이고 觀光投資를 늘려야 한다. 4. 스포츠의 社會的 影響은 신중히 고려되어야 한다.;The purpose of the present survey was to investigate the attitude of Korean citizens toward the Olympic Game scheduled to be held in Seoul in 1988. For this purpose, a self - report Survey Inventory consisting of 20 items was administered to 514 Seoulites (333 males and 181 females) through the stratefied cluster sampling. The Inventory measured citizens 8 attitude toward the Olympic Games in Seoul, its effects, the extent of social and cultural readiness, and related issues. The analysis of collected data revealed the following results: 1. Citizens were well aware of the basic tenets of the Olympic Game to be held in Seoul. 2. People believed that the Seoul Olympic Game would have positive effects on the political development of Korea from the national and international standpoints along with some economical side effects. 3. People believed that sufficient cultural resource as well as sightseeing are available. At the same time, people also felt that the quality of service businesses as well as public morals should be enhanced while more investment is necessary for the development of sightsesing resource in order to successfully accomplish the Game. 4, It was suggested that the social influeence of sport should be taken into serious consideration
