중국인 한국어학습자 대상 한중 중한 번역 수업 실태 조사

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the current status and problems about Chinese-Korean and Korean-Chinese translations courses offered by Korean department in Chinese universities, and providing improving plan for the learning effects of Chinese students taking these courses. In this research, the author proceeded a study about Chinese-Korean and Korean-Chinese translation education. With organizing related results, the author analyzed the circumstances of translation coursed offered in Korean department in Chinese universities and usage situation of related textbooks, at the same time elaborated the characteristics and problems about Korean translation education in China. Also, the author proceeded a questionnaire survey about the satisfaction degree of graduates with their Korean translation class in Chinese universities, according to which some suggestions are proposed to improve the level of Korean translation education in China. This thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 is a brief introduction with the necessity, aim, and basic structure of this thesis. Chapter 2 includes the previous study of Korean-Chinese and Chinese-Korean education situation. Chapter 3 analyzes two most-widely-used textbooks by Korean department in Chinese universities when processing Korean translation courses, and elaborates the characteristics and problems of these two textbooks. Chapter 4 is the questionnaire survey of Chinese students who have taken Chinese-Korean and Korean-Chinese translation courses, and evaluates the courses and textbooks used, in order to find out problems existing in Korean translation education in China and further understands students’ requirement for better textbooks. Chapter 5 is a conclusion and summary of this research, with three suggestions for Korean translation education in China.;본 연구에서는 현재 중국 4년제 대학 한국어학과에서 개설된 전공필수 과목인 중한 한중 번역수업의 현황과 문제점이 무엇인지 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 하여 중국인 한국어 학습자를 위한 번역수업의 학습효과를 향상시킬 수 있는 개선 방향을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 중한 한중 번역교육에 관한 선행연구를 살펴본 후, 중국 대학 한국어학과 번역수업의 개설현황과 교재 사용 실태를 알아보고 교재 설계에 존재한 특징과 문제점을 연구하고자 한다. 이어서 설문조사를 통하여 학습자 입장에서 번역수업과 교재에 대한 만족도와 요구를 파악하고 향후 급변하는 중한 한중 번역교육에 적용될 수 있는 몇 가지 제안을 제시해 보고자 한다. Ⅰ장에서는 본 연구의 필요성과 목적, 그리고 논문의 구성에 대해서 서술한다. 그리고 Ⅱ장에서는 본 연구를 구성한 첫 번째 연구인 한중 중한 번역 교육 선행연구를 정리한다. 이어서 Ⅲ장에서는 두 번째 연구인 중국 대학 한국어학과 번역수업 교재를 분석한다. 현재 중국에서 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 대표적인 2 권의 번역 교재를 선정하였다. 외적 구성과 내적 구성 두 가지 측면에서 교재를 분석한다. 분석한 결과를 토대로 하여 두 교재의 특징과 문제점을 논한다. Ⅳ장에서는 중국에서 한중 중한 번역수업을 받았던 졸업생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 진행한다. 학습자 입장에서 자신이 받았던 번역수업과 사용했던 번역 교재에 대하여 평가한다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 하여 중국에서의 한중 중한 번역교육에 나타난 문제점을 해결해야 할 부분을 밝힌다. 또한 주관식 질문의 방식으로 학습자들이 기대하는 번역 교재가 어떤 것인지 알아본다. 마지막 Ⅴ장에서는 본 연구의 결론이다. 결론 부분에서 필자가 생각하는 중한 한중 번역교육에 적용될 수 있는 제언 3가지를 제시한다. 그러나 본 연구의 설문조사 참여자의 수가 37명이 불과하며 전제적인 졸업생들은 번역수업에 대한 만족도와 교재 개발의 요구를 대표하지 못하는 한계가 있다. 그리고 여성 참여자가 전체 참여자 중에서 큰 비례를 차지하고 있는 점, 본 연구에 참여한 남성 학습자가 부족하다는 점도 연구의 제한점으로 남는다. 향후 번역 교육에 관 한 연구에서 이러한 부분을 보완하여 더욱 더 정확하고 보편성 있는 후속연구를 실시할 필요가 있다. 본 연구보다 더 발전되고 더 효과적인 한국어 번역교육 방안을 개발하기 위한 후속 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.
