톤(Tone)의 연출을 위한 인쇄기법에 관한 연구

Abstract

멀티미디어 환경에서 화려한 영상과 고품질의 이미지에 매료되어가는 사람들의 미감을 충족시키기 위해 전통적인 인쇄물은 보다 강력한 시각적 전달효과를 위한 방법을 필요로 한다. 이런 현실에서 희소성의 가치와 표현방법의 다양성을 갖춘 인쇄물만이 가장 경쟁적이고 효과적인 방법이라 생각되며 다양성에 대한 욕구는 종이라는 단조로운 소재에 다양한 질감과 개성을 부여하여 흥미를 주는 적극적인 방법으로 해소 될 수 있다. 본 논문은 낱장의 인쇄물에 인쇄의 한 형식인 후가공기법을 적용하여 톤(Tone)을 연출한 작품제작 논문이다. 연구의 목적은 평면적인 인쇄물에 후가공기법을 적용하여 새로운 표면에서의 자발적인 질감인 촉각적인 질감으로 표현영역을 확장함에 있다. 또한 인쇄의 경제성을 생각할 때, 동일한 필름을 재사용하여 다른 효과를 재현하여 비교할 수 있는 디자인의 효율성 측면을 고려하는데 있다. 이 연구의 개념적 바탕이 되는 톤(Tone)은 그 의미가 다양하지만 본 논문에서는 시각적인 언어로서 '질감(Texture)' 부분의 표현영역으로 그 의미를 한정하였다. 종이와 인쇄, 후가공기법 전반에 걸친 이론적 고찰과 이해를 돕기 위해 여러 가지 후가공기법이 적용된 DM, Card류의 낱장 인쇄물을 수집, 분류하여 살펴보았다. 결과물로 위의 연구를 바탕으로 실제 후가공기법을 적용한 카드형식의 인쇄물을 작품으로 제작하고 설문조사를 시행하여 결과물을 뒷받침하였다.;To fulfill the sense of beauty of whom that is fascinated by vivid and high quality images in the multimedia proliferation, powerful visual effect is required then the traditional prints. Therefore prints that delivers the scarcity of value and various forms of expression only remains to be competitive and to utilize special effect. The wanting of the variety will be satisfied in a positive way by allowing the simple material to appeal special expression and texture. This study has performed a print with a Tone which has been applied the method of processing technique. The objective of this research is to apply processing technique into the plain and flat print to expend the filed of expression by delivering spontaneous tactual texture. Also to consider the efficiency of time and cost in the production of design such method delivers unique and different effect for recycling the same film. The meaning of 'Tone', which is the basis of this research, could allow unlimited meaning however this research has limited the definition to a visual meaning, a 'Texture'. To understand processing technique inherently, I have collected, classified and investigated DM, Card and other prints according to types and patterns of processing technique. Lastly I produced card example using processing technique based on the research.
