Sergei Prokofiev의 Violin Sonata No.2 Op. 94a에 관한 분석 및 연구

Abstract

Sergei prokofiev(1891-1953), who performed the most outstanding activity in the 29th century is a representative Russian composer. He perfectly combined his great talent and originality he got with his works in his whole life. He has composed performance of his work in the field of opera, orchestral, chamber and choral music during the politic and social chaos of the times. Prokofiev questioned inconsistency between traditional Russian music and Western formalism. Even though his works got started from romanticism and nationalism, later gradually changed into innovative modern form, he blended formality of classical form, such as tonal music and sonata form, with 20th modern music technique adequately; therefore he pursued traditional and unique neoclassicism. So I have decided to study Violin Sonata No.2 Op. 94a that has this kind of formality of classical form among Prokofiev's neoclassical works. Prokofiev originally composed Flute Sonata Op. 94 for flute and piano in Ural, Perm. In 1944, it was arranged in Violin Sonata, suggested by violinist David Oistrach (1908-1974). This work has of drollery, sarcastic, and humorous character within long and lyrical melody, based on adventurous harmony and vivid rhythm. This study focuses on his life, works, characters and historical background of Prokofiev music and on 'Neo-classic' expression shown in his music by the analysis of his Violin.;20세기에 가장 두드러지게 활동했던 작곡가 프로코피에프(Sergei Prokofiev 1891-1953)는 러시아를 대표하는 작곡가로써 정치적, 사회적으로 혼란스러웠던 시대적 배경 속에서 모든 분야에 많은 작품을 남겼다. 그는 전 장르의 작품에서 고전 양식과 현대 양식의 조화로움을 추구하였으며 예술과 현실의 일치를 추구하였다. 초기에 그의 작품은 러시아 민족주의와 후기 낭만주의의 음악에 영향을 받았지만 외국으로 망명한 후에는 점차 변화되어 전통적인 형식과 새롭고 독창적인 기법과 더불어 신고전주의의 음악으로 나아가게 되었다. 프로코피에프는 전통적인 러시아 음악과 서유럽의 형식주의 사이의 모순 속에서 고민한 작곡가였다. 그의 작품은 러시아 뿐 아니라 현대에 이르기까지 러시아 음악의 전통을 정통적으로 계승 발전시킴으로써 그를 러시아의 대표적인 작곡가 중 한사람으로 일컬어지게 하였다. Prokofiev Violin Sonata No.2 Op. 94a는 고전적 형식의 틀을 갖는 4악장으로 구성된 신고전주의 작품이다. 프로코피에프의 특유의 익살, 풍자, 유머러스한 특징이 잘 나타나 있으며, 길고 아름다운 선율이 대담한 화성과 생기 있는 리듬과 함께 다양하게 묘사되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 프로코피에프 음악의 시대적 배경과 생애, 작품과 그 특징에 대해서 알아보고 그의 Violin Sonata Op. 94a의 분석을 통하여 그의 음악에서 보여지는 신고전주의적 표현을 알아보고자 한다.
