dc.description.abstractBordered double circulant quadratic residue codes are cyclic codes, and these codes are easy to encode. Bordered double circulant quadratic residue codes have been studied for binary cases. MacWilliams and Sloane [8] show that some quadratic residue (QR) codes over GF(2) can have bordered dou-ble circulant presentation; such QR codes are called bordered double circulant quadratic residue codes. Our goal is to study bordered double circulant ex-tended quadratic residue codes over GF(2), GF(3), GF(4) and GF(2^t). First, we search for binary extended quadratic residue codes of length p+1 which have bordered double circulant presentation. And we show that quadratic residue codes of length p + 1 with the form p = 2^(k+1) + 1 always have bordered double circulant presentation. We then show that there exist bordered double circu-lant quadratic residue codes over GF(3) and GF(4). For all the primes p up to 4519 (respectively, 1913) with p = 8m - 1, we find all bordered double circu-lant extended quadratic residue codes over GF(2) of length p+1 (respectively, p = 8m + 1). Also, for all the primes p up to 10091 (respectively, 1873) with p = 12m-1 (respectively, p = 12m+1), we find all bordered double circulant extended quadratic residue codes over GF(3) of length p + 1.;본 논문에서는 GF(2), GF(3), GF(4), GF(2^t) 상에서의 bordered double circulant quadratic residue (BDC-QR) 확장 코드를 연구하였다. 먼저 GF(2) 상에서 길이가 p+1 인 QR 확장 코드 중 BDC 프레젠테이션을 가진 코드를 조사함으로써 p=2^(k+1)+1 형식을 가지고 길이가 p+1 인 QR 확장 코드는 항상 BDC 프레젠테이션을 가지고 있음을 보였다. 다음으로 GF(3), GF(4), GF(2^t) 상에 BDC 프레젠테이션이 존재함을 제시하였다. p=8m-1 일 때 4,519 까지의 소수 p 중 (p=8m+1 일 때엔 1,913 까지) GF(2) 상에서 길이가 p+1 인 모든 BDC-QR 확장 코드를 발견하였다​​. 또한, 10,091 까지 p=12m-1 형식을 가진 p 중 GF(3) 상에서 길이가 p+1 인 모든 BDC-QR 확장코드 (p= 12m+1 인 경우에는 1,873 까지) 를 찾았다.-
