Some Families of Parametric Quadratic Diophantine Equations over Z

Abstract

이 논문에서는 14개의 x²－Dy²＋Ex＋Fy＋G＝0와 같은 유형의 매개화된 디오판타인 방정식에 대해 다루었다. 여기서 D는 제곱 꼴이 아닌 양수이고 모든 계수들과 해는 ℤ상에서 생각한다. 이러한 디오판타인 방정식에 대하여 다양한 결과들을 보일 수 있었는데, 무한히 많은 해를 생성하는 행렬과 이렇게 얻어진 해들이 만족하는 회귀관계, 그리고 해의 유한연분수 표현법이 그것들이다. 이러한 결과들은 각 디오판타인 방정식에 대하여 적절한 변환기반을 잡아 펠 방정식 형태로 변환하고, 얻어진 펠 방정식에 대해 위와 같은 결과들를 이끌어내어 이를 다시 역 변환함으로 얻을 수 있었다. 이 논문에서 다룬 14개의 매개화된 디오판타인 방정식 중, 일곱 개는 이미 알려진 다항식의 제곱근의 연분수 표현법으로부터 발전시킨 것이고, 나머지 일곱 개는 우리가 아는 한 다른 문헌에서 아직 소개되지 않은 다항식의 제곱근의 연분수 표현법을 발견하는데서 부터 발전시킨 것이다.;In this thesis, we consider fourteen families of parametric Diophantine equations of type x²－Dy²＋Ex＋Fy＋G＝0, where D is a positive non-square integer. The method we employ in solving these families of Diophantine equations is by A. Özkoç and A. Tekcan which transforms these equations into Pell equations. Various results are drawn on the resulting Pell equations which are then transformed back into the context of the original Diophantine equations considered. Seven of the fourteen families of Diophantine equations are built on continued fraction expansions of square roots of polynomials that are already known and the remaining seven are developed on continued fraction expansions of square roots of polynomials that have yet appeared in literature to the best of knowledge.
