L. v. Beethoven의 Violin Sonata Op.12 No.1에 관한 연구 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 Ludwig van Beethoven의 Violin Sonata Op.12, No.1을 중심으로 연구 분석하여 베토벤의 생애와 음악적 특징, 작품 분석을 통해 연주에 도움을 얻고자 한다. 베토벤은 고전주의 시대를 마감하며 낭만주의 음악으로 이끌어낸 낭만주의 기틀을 마련해 준 중요한 작곡가이다. 그의 작품 중 초기의 작품은 하이든과 모차르트의 영향을 받아 3악장 구성을 보여주고 있으며 피아노에 더 많은 음악적 비중을 두고 있었다. ‘바이올린을 반주로 하는 피아노 소나타’ 라는 표제가 붙은 것도 그 시대의 음악 성향을 보여주고 있는 것으로 보인다. Violin Sonata Op.12, No.1은 1799년 작곡되었다. 이 곡에서는 주제적 동기의 발전과 축소, 모방 등의 작곡 기법을 나타내면서 각 악장의 주제의 순환을 통해 통일성이 확립되도록 하였다. 1악장은 고전 소나타의 형식으로써 제시부 - 발전부 - 재현부로 크게 세 부분으로 나누어지며, 발전부와 재현부가 제시부보다 길이가 짧고 단조로운 특징을 가지고 있다. 2악장은 변주곡 형식으로 주제 선율을 피아노와 바이올린이 번갈아 연주하여 대화하는듯한 느낌을 주면서 동등한 비중을 보여주고, 3악장은 론도 소나타 형식으로 1, 2악장의 음악적 요소를 모방, 발전함으로써 곡 전체의 통일감을 형성한다. 본 논문에서는 이 작품의 각 악장들을 형식, 선율, 화성, 리듬, 다이내믹 등의 특징을 사용하여 곡의 주제와 음악적 아이디어를 어떻게 발전, 모방하였는지 살펴보고자 한다. 또한, 이러한 점을 통해 곡의 전체적 통일성을 이루는 구조를 이해하고 그 밖의 음악적 특징을 연구 및 분석해 보고자 한다.;This thesis is all about the analysis of Sonata Op.12 No.1's musical factors with the basis of L. v. Beethoven's life. Beethoven Violin Sonata Op.12 No.1 which was made in the time of Beethoven's early period of composition influenced by Haydn and Mozart a lot. So, it shows classicism which features simple and clear chord combination, rather than technical skills. It comprises three movements and features counterpoint by exchanging eachrolebetweenviolinandpiano.Anditmakesagreatlevelof uniformitybyimitatinganddevelopingmusicalideasthroughthree movements. As for the first movement, it is showing D major with 4/4 beats and is performed by Allegro con brio. It is composed of prelude, development and reappearance part, which is typical classicism sonata form. In contrast to other general sonata, development and reappearance part have relatively shorter than prelude part. The figure shown firstly takes a important role in entire melody. By emulating and developing, it is good at showing sonata's conventional character. Regardingthesecondmovement,itiscomposedofthemeandfour variations with 2/4 beats and is performed by Andante con moto. Its Key is A major which is Dominant key of first movement and changes into a minoronly in the third variation. It features the usage of altered chord, various chord changes, and development of subdivided rhythms. All of these features are showing each variation's characters very well. In fourth variation, all pro-peformed variations' features is appearing, which plays a role in both closing the second movement and making unity entirely. Lastly, the third movement has D major with 6/8 beats. It is performed in a way of rondo sonata form with fast tempo Allegro. This part is similar with first and second movement in that it uses syncopation, contrast of dynamics,manyornamentandusageoftrill.Allofthesefeatures contribute to closing and making uniformity in whole performance by imitating and developing musical ideas. BeethovenSonataOp.12No.1isshowingBeethoven'singenious techniques of composition based on classicism. These challenges led new opening of romanticism and influenced many contemporary other composers a lot. Through this analysis, I became to understand better about Beethoven's musical characteristics and also his pieces of work, looking forward to performing each movement.
