Abstract
Aluminum Hydroxide Gel(Al(OH)_(3) Gel)은 제산제, 수렵제, 완화제, 흡착제로서 소화성 궤양 치료에 널리 쓰이고 있다. 저자는 Al(OH)_(3) Gel 단일제제와 다른 제산제와의 복합제의 제산능(Antacid activity)을 Fuchs 법으로 실험하였고 U.S.P 규정에 따라 제산도(Acid-consuming capacity)를 측정하여서 비교검토하였다. 그 결과, Al(OH)_(3) Gel은 Dried Al(OH)_(3) Gel 보다 분산성이 좋았으며, 산과 접촉하자마자 계속 pH_(4)를 유지하면서 완충작용을 나타내었고 반응시간(pH≥3)도 105분동안 지속되었다. 그리고 Al(OH)_(3) Gel에 CaCO_(3)와 NaHCO_(3)를 혼합한 복합제산제 1회용량은 37℃에서 1시간동안 0.1N HCl 470ml를 중화시켜서 실험한 제산제 중에서 제산도가 제일 컸으며 그 반응시간도 180분으로 Al(OH)_(3) Gel 단일제제보다 그 시간을 70분 연장시켰다. 이상과 같은 결과로 볼 때, Dried Al(OH)_(3) Gel보다는 Al(OH)_(3) Gel의 제산력이 좋다는 것과 Al(OH)_(3) Gel에다 CaCO_(3)를 첨가하면 그 단일제제보다는 반응시간이 연장된다는 것과 그 단일제제에 M?나 NaHCO_(3)를 가하면 일시적으로 pH가 상승된다는 것을 알았다.;Aluminum hydroxide gel(Al(OH)_(3) Gel) has the properties of astringent, demulcent, and adsorbent, and widely used as therapeutic agent of peptic ulcer. Aluminum hydroxide gel was more effective than dried aluminum hydroxide gel, and had good diffusibility in gastro-intestine. The author tried to evaluate the antacid potency of singular Al(OH)_(3) Gel and complex antacids measuring antacid activity by Fucks method and acid consuming capacity by the provisions of U.S.P. It was observed that Al(OH)_(3) Gel had a good buffering action maintaining PH4.0 through the reaction, and its duration of neutralizing action (above PH 3.0) was 105 minutes. A mixture contained Al(OH)_(3) Gel, CaCO(3) and NaHCO_(3) showed the largest acid-consuming capacity in various compounds prepared in this experiment, and it neutralized 170ml of 0.1N Hcl for 1 hour at 37℃. Duration of its action was about 180 min., being 70 min. longer than that of singular Al(OH)_(3) Gel. It was also observed that addition of CaCO_(3) to Al(OH)_(3) Gel made it more durable in neutralization of acid and addition of MgO or NaHCO_(3) raised PH to 7.0 transiently.
