dc.description.abstractMy intention in this thesis is to form a system by collecting and arranging the pattern of Lee-Dynasty and also to seek our native tradition and beauty by anolyzing value of its beauty. For pattern of porcelain at the age of Lee-Dynasty, there are several kinds of pattern, the pattern of dragon, claudy crane, fish, grape, peony and lotus flower which has been continueing from the age of Koryo. These pattern showed crudeness and disorder the end of Koryo Reign, but since Lee-Dynastic pattern which is not only proper but also contained unconventional and delicate nature was began to appeared by people of Lee-Dynasty, the pattern which had been using from the age of Koryo was begun to change from the form which was primarily diagrammatized into Lee-Dynastic characteristic pattern which is natural and simple. The pattern of Autumn flower was greatly fashionized between 16 and 17 centry and this was not only falk spiritual pattern among the pattern which was created by the people of Lee Dynasty but also this showed their emotion of life and this was begun by populace. And this pattern was loved not only by the royal family but also the general public. The appearence of this pattern teaches us that the porcelain of Lee_Dyanaty wasn't localized only for the people of special classes; king and aristocray but also for populace. Likewise, characteristic of pattern at the age of Lee-Dynasty has originaly realistic and unconventional pattern which is quito suitable for porcelain, and the touch that pattern was painted is not only natural but also boldness and its face is rough. There are various kinds of form according to vessel and these were widely used by the people of Lee-Dynasty. And we could see that the people of Lee-Dynasty had very high sence of beauty.-
