構造分析을 通한 1930年代의 三作家 硏究

Abstract

As an object of this study, we have chosen a few works from each of three representative author in 1930's in Korea. They are Lee Sang, Lee Hyo Seuk and Kim Yu Chung. We have thought that the short story is essentially analytical text and the structure of the fiction is one of the most important problem for understanding fiction. The history of the Novel was the history of the fictional mode and structure of the novel. For understanding such problems, we have studied some critical historical works of Albert Thibaudet, R-M Alberes and Northrop Frye. Especially Northrop Fryes theory of Fictional mode was helpful for us to understand the history of novel and structure of the novel. Albert Thibaudet's theory of Romanesque and R_M Alberes' Theory of anti-Roman was helpful for us to understand the realistic novel of 19th centry and the fictional structure of new dimension of those latter half of the 20th centry. fictions should not be the source of anxiety about its meaning nor the basis of indecriminate guesswork. Everything is connected in a short story like a poem or a piece of music. For the convenience, we have made some distinction with material by means of the basic aspect of genre; character setting plot and imagery and style. Through the analytical process, we have studied about two main problems. One was "How is it put together? " and the other was "How does it work to be a piece of art?" Kim Yu Chaung's unusual ability using the native expression and Lee Hyo Seuk's sensitively expressed world of Nature and Lee Sang's wonderful, effective use of meta□hor and special type of plot and aspects of psychological novel were the most noticeable aspects of our conclusion.
