창살 문양을 이용한 의상디자인

Abstract

현대는 科學과 機械文明의 발달로 급진적인 進步를 하고 있으며 이러한 추세에 따라 오늘날의 패션산업도 매우 다양하게 變化되어가고 있다. 그러나 오늘날 우리의 傳統文化는 西歐的 문화의 大衆化 속에 점점 消滅되어 가고 있으며 특히 服飾 領域에서 이러한 現狀이 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 이에 우리는 우리의 전통 문화를 服飾에 도입하여 고유의 한국미로 실용화시켜 國際化 속에서 경쟁력을 키워야 할 시점에 놓여 있다. 또한 현대의 패션산업은 個性化를 志向하는 感覺産業이며 시대적 욕구를 충족시키기 위한 창조 과정으로 패션 디자이너들은 未來의 패션 경향을 제시해야 하며, 패션에 대한 흥미나 욕구를 충족시켜주는 새로운 아이디어의 창출을 위해 노력해야 한다. 이에따라 우리나라의 디자이너 및 모든 분야에 전통에 대한 認識을 새롭게 하고 한국적 이미지가 담긴 디자인을 하기에 이르렀으며 패션 분야에서도 전통적 이미지로 표현된 작품들이 많은 작가들에 의해 발표되고 있다. 이에 본 硏究는 이러한 杜會的 現狀을 인식하여 조선시대 창살 문양을 통해 우리 民族의 내면적인 미적 가치와 조형성을 파악하여 현대 服飾에 도입함으로서 복식의 정통성의 의미를 되살리고 국제 시장에 우리 傳統文化에 근거를 둔 현대 腋飾으로서의 표현 가능성을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 본 硏究의 이론적 배경으로는 한국의 전통미에 대한 개념과 올바른 민족문화 전통의 繼承에 관해 알기 위하여 창살 문양의 의의와 역사적 배경을 文獻을 통해 考祭하고 자료를 수집하여 형태별로 분류하고 창살 문양에 표현된 造形美를 考察하여 보았다. 또한 現代杜會에 있어서의 服飾의 의미를 살펴보고 창살문양의 기하학적선의 성격을 분석하며, 전통 문양을 現代 服飾으로 실용화 한 디자이너들의 작품을 수집하여 보았다. 작품 제작은 전통적 이미지를 잃지 않는, 傳統의 再創造라는 차원에서 우리조형 양식의 미적 기능과 실용적 기능을 조화시킨 실용적인 服飾 구성을 하였다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통한 結論은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리의 전통 미의식은 자연에서부터 와서 인간 생활에 연루된 것으로 조형예술 전반에 걸쳐 나타나는데 특히 조선시대 건축의 창살 문양을 통해 알 수 있다. 둘째, 창살이라는 건축적 요소를 현대적 감각에 맞도록 형을 채구성하여 服飾에 응용함으로서 현대 복식으로의 가능성을 제시하였다. 셋째, 현대의 개성화 시대에 부응하여 한국적 조형성과 복식의 기능성의 조화를 시도하였다. 이상과 같이, 본 연구는 한국 고유의 전통미 와 조형미를 현대 服飾의 직선과 기하학적인 선으로 연결함으로서 전통적, 조형적 가치를 갖는 실용적인 服飾 디자인 개발의 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다.;Today, the fashion industry has been developed into many varieties due to the rapid growth in science and mechanical civilization. However, our traditional culture is fading away because of the penetration of the western civilization into every aspect of daily life. This phenomenon is conspicuous specially in the fashion area. Thus, we are facing the challenge of applying our traditional culture in the fashion design area, and developing it as an unique Korean beauty concept for the better competitive power in the world markets. In addition, since today's fashion industry is the sense making industry and the creation process to fulfill the desire of new generation, fashion designers should make an effort to guide the future trend of fashion design, and to develop new idea of design concept which can satisfy the customer's needs and interests in clothes. Following the tendency, many fashion designers present various works expressing the traditional images as they recognize the importance of the tradition in fashion design. In order to apply the standard value and molding characteristic of our own culture to the modern fashion industry, the latticework during the Yi Dynasty has been studied in this paper. The study will help for Korean people to regain the pride in traditional design works and to make it possible to show the beauty of Korean culture expressed in fashion design to the international markets This paper studied the shape, historical background and significance of the latticework by investigating and classifying the articles and documents on this subject, which will serve as the basis for establishing the way of succeeding a good traditional beauty concept and culture to the future generation. Again, the role of clothes in modern society and the geometrical characteristics of the latticework pattern was analyzed. The modern fashion design works adopting the traditional latticework pattern were also collected in the study. The production process of the fashion design works in this study was focused on making the practical clothes with the balance between the beauty concept of the traditional molding mode and the practical function of clothes. The results obtained through the study were as follows: First, as shown in the analysis of the latticework pattern during the Yi Dynasty, our traditional beauty concept which originated from nature was closely related with human life. Secondly, the feasibility of utilizing traditional culture into modern fashion design was shown by recomposing a architectural element, latticework pattern, according to modern artistic sence and applying it to the clothes design. Third, it was attempted to harmonize Korean molding characteristics and the practical function of clothes to meet the need of design originality in modern times. As stated above, this paper attempted to show the feasibility of developing practical fashion, design concept combining Korean traditional beauty concept and molding characteristics with modern design works.
