SECONDARY CHARACTERISTIC CLASS ON PRINCIPAL FIBRE BUNDLES

Abstract

본 논문에서는 principal fibre bundle의 total space상에서 정의되는 secondary characteristic class의 기하학적인 특성을 조사연구하고, 그의 응용으로 S^(1)×SO(3)가 E^(5)에 conformally immersed 되지 않음을 보인다.;In this paper, we would like to investigate the geometric properties of the secondary characteristic class that arise in the total space of a principal fibre bundle with a connection. As an application, we show that S^(1)?SO(3) is not conformally immersed in E^(5)
