dc.description.abstract√-aminolevulinic acid is a intermediate of the biosynthesis of heme, and the absorption of lead inhibites √-ALA dehydratase and accumulates √-ALA in vivo. The √-ALA ia excreted in urine. Singerman A. and Djuric D. proved that urinary √-ALA is induced by the absorption of lead. And so lead poisoning of spcecimen of occupational exposure can be diagnosed early by measuring excretion of urinary ALA content. The samples of this study were randomly selected 324 specimen in normal specimen, dwellers in a bus stopping place, traffic policemen, professional drivers, printers, type-pickers, foundrers, paint workers, plastic container workers, and dry cell(battery) workers, and experimented urinary ALA content by Wada's method. The results of the study are follows: (1) Urinary ALA contents of drivers, foundrers, paint workers and dry cell workers group were remarkable higher than other groups. (2) The specimen, whose concentration of ALA in urine were higher than 4.0mg/l were 40 among 324(12.3%) and whose concentration of ALA in urine were higher than 4.5mg/l were 28 among 324(8.6%).;δ-anino levulinic acid는 Heme 合成의 體內代謝 中間物質이며 氣道로 吸入된 鉛(pb)은 δ-anino levulinic acid dehydratase에 作用하여 이를 inhibit함으로써 代謝는 遮斷되어 體內에는 δ-anino levulinic acid가 蓄積되어 尿中으로 排泄된다. singerman A.와 Djuric D. 等이 尿中 δ-anino levulinic acid가 pb의 吸收에 起因된다는 것을 確認하였다. 그러므로 尿中 δ-anino levulinic acid의 排泄量을 測定함으로써 職業的으로 pb에 露出된 職業人들의 pb 中毒의 早期診斷을 할 수 있다. 그리하여 本 實驗은 pb 汚染에 職業的으로 關聯되지 않은 一般人과 pb汚染에 影響이 있다고 생각되는 停留場 附近의 居住者, 交通警察, 運轉技師, 印刷工, Paint製造工, 文選工, 鑄造工, Plastic容器製造工, 乾電池製造工 等 324名에 대한 尿中 δ-anino levulinic acid의 排泄量을 Osamu Wada等에 의한 方法으로 調査하였다. 그 結果 運轉技師群은 最低値가 1.3 mg/ℓ, 最高値가 6.2 mg/ℓ, 平均이 3.2 mg/ℓ이고 鑄造工群은 最低値가 1.0 mg/ℓ, 最高値가 4.8 mg/ℓ, 平均이 3.1 mg/ℓ이고 Paint製造工群은 最低値가 0.5 mg/ℓ, 最高値가 8.0 mg/ℓ, 平均이 3.1 mg/ℓ이고, 乾電池製造工群은 最低値가 0.8 mg/ℓ, 最高値가 6.2 mg/ℓ, 平均이 3.1 mg/ℓ로 다른 群들과 顯著한 差異를 보였으며 尿中 δ-anino levulinic acid의 含量이 4.0 mg/ℓ 以上인 者는 全體 324名中 40名으로 12.3%이며 鉛에 確實히 汚染된 것으로 認定되는 4.5 mg/ℓ 以上인 者는 全體 324名中 28名으로 8.6%였다.-
