분청사기의 이미지를 응용한 직물디자인 연구

Abstract

Beginning the history, the fiber is a part of culture that has been developed in a close connection with human being life to get better life. Development of textile is became the mark of culture level and it's important role of culture transmission is recognized. The present, our textile design is at a crisis that lost our original meaning and identity because of reckless imitation and copy of western design. In the western design flood, to seek our spirituality, little by little, we interested in the line that connects with the past. To preserve, applicate, reinterpret and recreate our traditions according to the modem taste is the way that keep our root and revive our identity in the western epidemic cold. The study reinterpreted figures of Buncheong-China expressing Korea's beauty and formative feeling uniquely and made textile as new table ware so tried modern expression of Korean classic figure. Image seen in the Buncheong-china is expressing firstly beauty of simplicity coming from life of people and secondly beauty of freedom from all ideas based on creative world from primitive nature and thirdly beauty of nature based on private faith. This study considered historically Buncheong-china-definition, developmental process, character of the figure. Producing samples, I analysed function and recent trend of table ware textile based on data from market survey. Producing works, I analysed and reinterpreted simple, no-technical, natural image of Buncheong-china and produced new table ware textile. Especially based on survey and 2002 interior trend analysis, I divided by theme of samples-simplicity, freedom from all ideas, nature and produced textile using of color and material, organization suitable to concept.;섬유는 그 특유한 감촉과 다양한 색상으로 역사 이래부터 오늘날에 이르기까지 인간의 질적 삶을 영위하기 위해 인류 생활과 가장 밀접하게 발달해왔으며, 섬유의 발달은 문화의 척도를 가늠하는 기준이 되어왔고 문명전달의 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 현재 우리나라 섬유디자인은 서구 디자인의 무분별한 모방과 복제로 인해 우리의 본질에 대한 의미, 주체성마저도 상실할 위기에 처해있다. 이러한 서구디자인의 범람 속에서 우리는 최근에 우리의 정신적 주체성을 찾기 위해 전통의 계승에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있으며, 이와 같은 현상은 섬유디자인에 있어서도 마찬가지라 할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구자는 우리 고유의 민족혼이 서려있는 문화유산을 계속 유지·발전시키면서 새 시대 감각에 맞도록 재해석하고 재 창조해나가는 것이 범람하는 외래문화 속에서 우리의 뿌리를 지키고 민족의 주체성을 살리는 하나의 방법이라 생각된다. 이에 본 연구는 한국의 미의식과 조형성이 독특하게 나타나는 조선시대 분청사기의 이미지를 바탕으로 하여 새로운 테이블 웨어 용도의 직물을 제직함으로써 한국 고유 이미지의 현대적 표현 가능성을 시도하였다. 조선시대 분청사기 속에서 보여지는 이미지는 첫째, 서민들의 가식 없는 생활 속에서 우러나오는 순박한 미를 표현하고 있고 둘째, 원시적인 자연에서 나오는 독창적인 세계를 바탕으로 형성된 무념의 미를 표현하고 있으며 셋째, 민간신앙을 토대로 형성된 자연의 미를 표현하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 분청사기의 개념과 발달과정, 분청사기 속에 나타나는 이미지의 특징을 역사적으로 고찰하였으며, 샘플 제작 시 직물로 제품화시킬 테이블 웨어 직물의 기능과 현재 동향을 시장조사에서 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 분석하였다. 작품제작에서는 분청사기의 순박하고 무기교적이며 자연적인 이미지를 분석, 재 해석하여 새로운 테이블 웨어 직물로 제작하였다. 또한 현재 나타나고 있는 소비자 성향 조사와 2002 인테리어 트랜드 분석을 바탕으로 작품의 테마를 순박의 미, 무념의 미, 자연의 미로 분류하였으며, 각 테마의 컨셉에 적합한 색상과 소재, 조직으로 직물을 제작하였다.
