Abstract
From the primitive ages, the human being began to arrange their hair as a means of making their appearance good and use some kind of head covering to protect their head, and their heir a arrangement and ornament distinguish men and women and also represent their age and rank. from the ancient time European women think the long hair as a symbol of women's beauty, and they varicus kinds Of Pomade, oil, hair powder to keep their hair smart. Especially, they so like d blonde hair that they used to dye hair or wear a wig on the head with the ornament such as fillet, veil, hairnet, hairpin, comb or with the headdress suct as veil, hood, cap, bonnet, hat, the ancient Egyptian women enjoyed wig instead of hats. Consequently,'the shape of wig and material is much technical in comparison with the simple clothes at the time. The wig originated in that era and have been popular to the ladies up to now through the whole generations. The hair style of Greece and Rome, with natural wave and curl, was considered as modern and gave a great influence to the hair style of the ladies in the later ages. And also the petasos of Greece and patasus of Rome became origin of the hat. The Christian religion spread from the end of Rome dominated not only the mediaeval culture in every respects, but their influence appeared in their clothes and hair style and head dress. They did not even cue their hair and braided long by the knee or they covered the whole head with veil. In the late 15th century, they often wore round cap of 90cm high. As it comes to Renaissance, such exaggerated head dress started to disappear and the fashion was changing into a low hat and hair style marked individuality. But the 1ate 17th century, they again exaggerated each side of their face with the wig, feather and flowers and the late 18thcentury, with a background of brilliant noble-culture at that time, the hair arrangement and hight reached the peak. On the head they put a wig and frame of horse hair cushion or wire and fixed with the pomade and hair powder made of starch and on that, they put another fantastic ornament, which was almost 45-90cm in hight and again they wore a bie bonnet or hat to cover the high head. such type of hair arrangement expressed the some noble atmosphere and their artistic sence brought historic imprpvament. With the french Revolution, such kind of hair style and head dress got cut of sight and there was a slight movement to return to the old style. After the world war, as the clothes became more simple and onvenient to work bob style was untified the style with small fittable hat was prevailing. Gradually, they arranged hair style very typically to each individual and also the ornament such as hairpin and comb changed practical1y. Nowadays, we have various kinds of hats and design and the clothes shoes and other accessories are in good harmony with the shape and colour. Thus, hair style and headdress has the cloaerelationship to each other and are affected by the historic, namely, Refornation, Renaissance, French Revolution and World War. Under those inflence, fashion is drawing a circle, larger of small, and repeats its general shapes.
