dc.description.abstract2,2'-Methylene bis (3,4,6,-trichloroacetoxy) benzene had teen synthesized from hexachlorophene. Eleven new derivatives of 2,2'_Methylene bis (3,4,6,-trichloroacetoxy benzene) were synthesized by Mannich's reaction. Effects of thenew compounds on 15-strains of becterias and yeasts were examinedboth paper disk methed and tube dilution method.Among them, compounds of benzylamine and p-toluidina revealed most offective antimlcroblal activity to Bacillus subtilis and Psevdomonas ovalis. The mintmal inhibitory concentration of 2,2'_Methylene bis 3,4,6,trichloro (-p-toluidinopropionoxy)benzene and 2,2'-Methylene bis3.4,6,-trichloro-benzylaminoprooionoxy) benzene on Bacillus subilis are 1ug/ml ana that of Rseudomonas ovalis are 2ug/ml, lug/ml by tube dilution method. Minimal inhibitory concentration(m.i.c.)of p-toluidinea,m,pound inhibited the growht and production of amylase and oroteaseactivitf of logarithmic Phase cells of Bacillus subtilis.-
