현실공간과 비현실적 공간 은유에 의한 시간성 연구

Abstract

20세기 후반 현대미술의 상황은 소위 포스트 모더니즘(post-modernism)이라 일컫는 다원화된 경향을 보여주고 있으며 이러한 경향은 모더니즘의 반발인 동시에 그 연속이라 할 수 있겠다. 이러한 현대미술의 상황은 다원화의 경향 뿐 아니라 국제화의 경향을 보여주는데 오늘날의 미술화면은 예술의 본고장 파리를 비롯, 런던, 도쿄, 베를린 등 지구촌 어디에서나 작품의 구성 등에 있어 극히 일부를 제외하고 어떤 종류의 시간상 간격이 존재하지 않고 있다. 또한 다른 곳에서 일어나고 있는 일에 대한 미술가의 지식에 영향을 끼치는 어떤 종류의 전달수단의 간격도 이미 존재하지 않는다. 또한 평면화 작업에서 벗어난 작가의 자유로운 행위의 흔적, 오브제(object)의 차용, 재료의 다양성 등도 볼 수 있다. 현대 작가들의 작업 양상은 각각의 개성을 주장하면서 캔바스의 틀을 벗어난 자기자신의 메시지(message)를 전달하기 위한 하나의 외침으로 보이기도 한다. 이와 같이 예술적 소재는 당대의 사회, 역사상황과 함께 변모하는데 본인은 이렇게 본인의 삶속에 있는 본인의 역사, 과거의 경험에 대한 추억, 유년기의 환상 등을 작품 속에 담아 작품을 통해 표현되는 개인 역사의 시간에 대한 가치 부여와 현실공간과 비현실공간을 은유하여 또 다른 세계를 창출하려는 것이 본인의 목적이다. 예술작품은 개인의 정서, 경험, 과거의 추억, 무의식의 세계가 모두 포함된다고 생각한다. 이러한 근본적인 문제를 본 논문에서는 사진을 이용한 기억의 이미지에서 나오는 시간에 대한 문제, 화면을 체계적으로 이끌어 나가는 구성력을 내용, 방법연구로 나누어 연구하고자 하였다. 본 논문은 작품제작 연구로 어릴적 유년기의 환상을 소재로 내용적 면과 방법적 면으로 연구하여 은유적 내용을 함유한 새로운 공간의 창출에 대하여 연구하고자 한 것이다. 끝으로 본인 작품을 제시하여 설명함으로써 앞으로의 작업에 새로운 방향을 모색하고자 한다.;In the late 20th century, the situation of modern arts shows various trends, so-called post-modernism, and these trends are both the resistance and continuance of modernism. Modern arts represent the trend of internationalization, and today's arts don't have any kind of time gap all over the world, except some parts. Also, there exists no gap of communication method which affects artists' knowledge. We can find the trace of artists' liberal performance, such as object, and the variety of materials. It seems that modern artists' work styles are the claim for the delivery of their own message, escaping from the frame of Canvas. Art materials change with their society and historical events, and I have an intention to create another world by reflecting my experience and history to my work, and metaphorizing the realistic and unrealistic space expressed through my work. I think art works indude individual emotion, experience, memory, and the world of subconsciousness. With this fundamental matter, I examined the time question, derived from the image of photos, and its Structure by dividing it into contents and method study. This study has a purpose to create a new space which has metaphoric contents by studying the contents and method of my work with the material of fantacy in childhood. Finally, I'd like to suggest a new direction to the future work by presenting and explaining my work.
