파티션을 위한 직물 디자인 연구

Abstract

현대 사회는 급격히 변화해 가고 있으며 사람들의 생활 방식도 달라지고 주거 생활에 대한 생각과 요구도 변화되고 있다. 더우기 실내 공간을 단순한 안식처가 아닌 자기 개성의 표현 대상으로 삼으려는 현상이 일반화 되어 가고 있는 추세여서 실내를 구성하고 있는 인테리어 용품에 관한 다양한 연구가 필요하다고 보아진다. 최근 개성이 강조되는 실내 공간에 맞게 개발된 여러 종류의 인테리어 용품중 공간을 분할하는 역할을 하는 파티션은 다양한 기능성과 함께 실내 장식재로서의 가치가 높아져 가고 있다. 파티션은 공간을 분할하는 방법에 따라 고정적인 것과 이동적인 것으로 구분되고 있으며, 파티션의 소재 역시 다양해지고 있다. 특히 여러 종류의 파티션 소재중 직물로 표현된 파티션의 경우는 직물이 주는 부드러운 질감과 조직이 가지고 있는 장식적인 요소 때문에 다른 소재보다도 실내 분위기 형성에 효과적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 파티션용 직물을 제직하기 위해 인레이 기법(inlay weave)을 도입하였다. 인레이 기법은 배경 조직(ground weave) 위에 제 3의 요소(실)가 더해져서 이루어지는 기법이기 때문에 수직기에 의한 기계적인 패턴에서 벗어난 자유로운 표현이 가능하므로 장식적인 요소가 강조된다는 것이 특징이다. 본 논문은 인레이 기법으로 표현된 파티션용 직물이 개성 있는 실내 분위기를 위한 하나의 방법으로 제시되기를 바라며, 파티션용 직물의 디자인을 개발하는데 촉진제 역할을 하여 고부가가치 상품을 창출해 내는데 도움이 되었으면 한다.;Modern society with it's fast paced changes and increasing demand for change in daily life is reflected also in the attitude of society's members on interior design. The space within buildings is no longer a place of rest but an expression of one's personality and with general trends leading in this direction, various studies on interior design materials and goods are also in high demand. One of the recently popular interior design materials for practical and effective use of intehor space is the partition wall which divides spaces and is valued for it's functions and decorative qualities. Partitions which divide space can be categorized into stable partitions and mobile partitions and there are various materials which can form partitions. Especially among the materials partitions made from textiles are valued for the decorative elements of the soft texture and organic traits and highly evaluated for their effective contribution to ambience In this study, the inlay weave was utilized in order to construct textile partitions with the inlay weave, a third element(thread) is supplemented to the ground weave. While expressions escaping the strict and mechanical patterns of looms is possible, it is especially valued for it's decorative nature. It follows that the inlay weave textile partitions can be an effective decorative element in interior design, and this study also concludes that development of the said skills in order to produce high value added products is necessary
