개별화 교육을 위한 하이퍼텍스트 저작 시스템의 설계 및 구현

Abstract

This thesis presents the design and implementation of hypertext authoring system which is called Navil(Navigator for Instruction) to support individualizing instruction. NaviI is composed of a authoring module which builds hypertext database and a learning module which provides learning environment for students. To solve user's cognitive overhead and disorientation, hypertext database is structured hierarchically by content browser as well as nonhierarchically by various link types. With the help of this system, a student can study according to his need, interest, and cognitive style. Besides, the system helps the student develop cognitive strategies because the student can make dynamic learning structure for himself.; 본 연구에서는 학습자의 인지 스타일에 맞게 학습 구조를 동적으로 구성하는 교육용 하이퍼텍스트 저작 시스템인 NaviI(Navigator for Instruction)를 설계 및 구현하였다. Navil는 저작 모듈과 학습 모듈로 구성된다. 저작 모들에서는 하이퍼텍스트 데이타베이스를 구성하는 일체의 저작 과정을 담당하며, 학습 모듈에서는 앞 모듈에서 저작된 하이퍼텍스트 교재를 이용하여 실제로 학습해 볼 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 본 시스템의 데이타베이스는 목차 브라우저를 통한 비계층적 구조와 다양한 링크 유형을 통한 비계충적 구조로 융통성있게 구성되어 인지적 부담(Cognitive Overhead)과 방향 감각 상실(Disorientation) 문제를 해결한다. 대부분의 하이퍼텍스트 시스템이 범용을 목적으로 제작되었고 사용이 쉽지 않으며, 한글이 지원되지 않음을 감안할 때 Navil의 구현은 그 의의가 있다. 본 시스템으로 학습자는 자신의 필요, 관심 또는 인지 구조에 따라 학습을 해 나갈 수 있을 뿐아니라 학습 전략을 직접 구성할 수 있으므로 인지 개발에 도움이 된다.
