상담자의 경험과 상담초기 작업동맹 및 상담회기의 효율성간의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 상담자의 경험과 상담 초기 작업동맹 및 상담회기 효율성간의 관계에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 위하여 많은 대학 상담실에서 참여한 상담자-내담자의 26쌍들은 상담자 경험수준에 따라 초보 집단과 숙련된 집단으로 분류되었다. 14명의 초보 상담자들을 2년 미만의 상담 경험을 가지고 있고, 12명의 숙련된 상담자들은 6년 이상의 상담 경험을 가지고 있다. 종속변인으로 작업동맹 평가 질문지와 상담회기평가 질문지를 사용하였고, 자료는 MANOVA와 Pearson 적률 상관계수를 이용하여 통계처리하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상담자의 경험수준에 따라 작업동맹의 유대 차원은 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 목표 차원(p[.01)과 과제 차원(p[.05)에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 숙련된 상담자와 그들의 내담자들은 목표합의와 과제동의에서 초보 상담자와 그들의 내담자들보다 더 높은 평정을 하였다. 또한 내담자들은 상담자들 보다 목표 차원에 대해서 더 높게 평정하였다. (p[.05) 둘째, 상담자의 경험수준에 따라 상담회기평가의 순조로움 차원은 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 깊이 자원(p[.01)과 긍정적 정서(p[.01) 차원에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 숙련된 상담자와 그들의 내담자들은 상담회기를 더 깊이있고, 상담 후에 더 긍정적으로 느낀다는 것을 보여준다. 또한 내담자들은 상담자들보다 상담회기를 더 깊이있게 평정하였다. (p[.05) 세째, 작업동맹과 상담회기평가 사이에 강력하게 유의미한 상관을 나타냈다. (p[.001) 상담회기평가의 순조로움 차원은 작업동맹의 유대 및 과제 차원과 유의미한 상관을 보였고, 깊이 차원은 유대, 목표, 및 과제 차원과 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 또한 상담회기평가의 긍정적 정서 차원은 작업동맹 유대 및 과제 차원과 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 본 연구 결과로 상담자의 경험수준이 상담의 효율성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝히고, 앞으로의 연구 방향과 본 연구의 제한점에 대해 논의되었다. ; The present study is to examine the relation of counselor experience to working alliance and session outcome in the early phase counselling. For the purpose of the present study, 26 counselor-client dyads from a large university counseling center were classified as novice and experienced group according to counseling experience. All 14 novice counselors have under 2 years of counseling experience and all 12 experienced counselors have over 6 years of counseling experience. The dependent variables for this experiment were working alliance inventory and session evaluation questionnaire. MANOVA and Pearson r were applied to analyse the data. The results of this study are as follows. First, the bond dimension of working alliance wasn't found significant difference according to counselor experience level, but the goal dimension was found the greatest difference and the task dimension was found a somewhat smaller difference. Clients made higher estimates of the goal dimension than their counselors. Second, the smothness dimension of session outcome wasn't found significant difference according to counselor experience level, but the depth dimension and positivity were found significant difference. Clients made higher estimates of the depth dimension than did their counselors. Third, between working alliance and session outcome showed powerfully significant correlation. The smothness dimension of session outcome was correlated the bond and task dimension of working alliance and the depth dimension did the bond, goal, and task dimension. The positivity dimension of session outcome was correlated the bond and task dimension of working alliance.
