인물화의 다각적 표현모색

Abstract

人體는 人類의 文化가 발생한 이래 그 文化 속에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지해온 題材로서 동서고금을 통하여 중요한 표현수단이 되고 있다. 모든 藝術분야에 있어서 지속적인 관심의 대상이 되어오고 있는 人體는 다양한 소재와 그에 따른 수많은 회화양식이 共存하는 오늘날에도 많은 作家들에 의하여 꾸준한 硏究와 多角的인 實驗을 통해 기존의 양식들을 계승하면서 한편으로는 새로운 조형의식으로 再構成되어 現代的인 人物表現으로 나타나고 있다. 이에 본 論文에서는 人物을 매제로 하여 現代的 조형의식으로서의 다양한 表現技法에 중점을 두고 硏究하였다. 이를 위해 1. 理論的 背景인 人物 의 槪念과 起原을 살펴보고, 2. 人物晝의 特性을 알아보고, 3. 人物晝의 表現要素 등을 고찰하였으며 그 다음으로는 現代 韓國晝에 있어서 人物晝에 나타난 다양한 표현방법에 관하여 韓國晝作家들의 作品을 통해 硏究해 보았다. 作品製作에 있어서 그 方法과 意味를 찾아 보았으며, 이러한 연구내용을 참고하여, 本人은 작업과정을 통해 觀念的 양식에서 탈피한 現代的 造形技法의 受容을 위해 여러 가지 實驗的 연구로 人物晝의 다양한 표현방법을 摸索해 보고자 하였다; Since, the dawn of civillization, The human body has been given the greatest weight in the motif of civilization. The human body has been the steady object of concern in the every field of art and today when the numerous picture styles about countless subjects coexist together, many painters make attempts at modernistic expression of human figures by new formative languages through steady studies and various experiments. In my works, I tried to show diversity in expressing technique as modern plastic consciousnes. First, it's historical background ; second, it's characteristics of touch with a figure ; third, it's other elements of expression ; and lastly, it's modern reception, my own work related to these points are researched. Looking for the method and meaning in producing a work of art, the present writer tried to grope for the various forms of expressing for a figure painting.
