현대음악의 이해증진을 위한 일연구

Abstract

歷史的으로 두차례 세계대전을 치룬 오늘날의 음악은 旣存在來의 秩序를 파괴하고 나온 혁신적인 創作으로서 音素材, 가락, 화성, 형식등에 커다란 변화를 가져왔으며, 그로 인해 우리들로 하여금 音樂美에 대한 새로운 견해를 갖도록 하였다. 그러므로 현대음악의 理解度에 있어서는 재래의 傳統音樂에 비해 심한 차이를 보이고 있는 것이 사실이다. 우리나라에서는 이러한 현대음악이 음악회의 곡목으로 등장됨이 적을뿐더러 中等學校 수업에서는 거의 도입되어 있지 않고 있음으로 학생들은 현대음악을 듣고 배울 기회를 가지지 못하고 있다. 현대사회나 예술교육의 사명이 創作性 啓發을 중요시한다고 보면 현대 음악을 수업에 도입함은 교육의 현대화에도 의미가 있을 것으로 생각되며 무엇보다도 학생들에게 새로운 것을 일깨워준다는 뜻에서 현대음악은 넓은 의미에서 創造的 인간을 길러주게 되는 捷徑으로 생각된다. 本 論文에 있어서의 硏究方法은 文獻硏究와 악곡수집으로 시작하여 수집한 악보와 감상곡들을 다시 歌唱, 器樂, 創作, 鑑賞의 네 영역에 걸쳐 학습자료로서 사용하였다. 指導의 實際에 있어서는 현대음악의 特性과 음악의 기초요소를 통한 이해를 중심으로 하였다. 따라서 歌唱에서는 새로운 가창교재, 器樂에서는 리듬과 音色에 관한 경험, 創作에서는 소리에 관한 관찰지도와 가락짓기, 그리고 鑑賞에서는 음악의 요소별 감상곡목과 연주형태별 감상곡목을 제시하여 현대음악에 대한 이해를 증진하도록 하였다. 이러한 현대음악의 지도는 학생들에게 현대음악을 통한 음악적 감각과 표현기능을 향상시켜주며, 새로운 音樂美에 대한 이해와 창작의욕을 유발시켜줄 것이다. 그러므로 현대음악의 수업을 위한 앞으로의 과제로서는, 첫째, 부족한 현대음악 학습자료를 위해서 작곡가와 음악교육 전문가 사이에 豊富한 이해와 밀접한 관련을 가져서 우리나라 중등학교 음악수업에 알맞은 자료들의 연구가 행해져야 하겠으며, 둘째, 현대음악을 수업에 도입하기 위해서는 음악교사들의 현대 음악에 대한 知的이해와 실제수업에의 도입을 위한 硏修가 先行되어야 하겠고, 음악교육가의 위치에서는 현대음악의 중요성에 대한 인식과 이를 받아들이기 위한 견고한 가치와 환경을 만들어서 학생들로 하여금 현대음악에 대한 이해를 증진시켜야할 것이다.;The post-war contemporary music has brought many drastic changcs in musical materials, rhythm, harmony and musical forms through revelutionary ideas on creativity. It also changed our thoughts on musical aesthetics as well as on the degree of understanding of new music in comparison with traditional music. The contemperary music has not frequently been played in concerts and little opportunity was ever provided for the students in junior high schools to listen and study it. The objectives of modern art education for the cultivation if creativity certainly coincide with the introduction of contemporary music in education. Above all, it inspires the students and may turn them into creative human beings. This study was made on the basis of literature research and collected materials including musical scores, records and tapes for class lessons in singing, instrumental music, creative activity and music approciation. In actual classroom situation the characteristics of the contemporary music were introduced through musical elements. Music education should be the result of cooperative efforts between four areas in music teaching; singing activities in new singing materials, jnstrumental music for the experience mainly of rhythm and tone color, creative activities in various melody making and various sounds, and music appyeciation for better understanding of various kinds of contemporary music in preformance situations. These various ways of introducing contemporary music in classrooms will develop students' musical sense and expressive ability, and further bring new insight into musical aesthetics. A summary for this study is as fo11ows: First, an intimate cooperation between composers and specialists in musical education should be made for the study on educational materials used in junior high schools jn Korea. Second, workshops should be conducted for music teachers for better understanding of contemporary techniques in music. Consequently, the importance and value of contemporary music must be recognized and promoted by music educators for better understanding by the part of students.
