순환구조로 본 한국시가 연구

Abstract

고대시가를 이해하는데 있어서 그 문헌의 한계성 때문에 문학이외의 인접 인문? 사회과학의 도움이 필요하다. 근래 국문학계에 업적을 보이기 시작한, 민속학? 문화인류학? 비교종교학적 접근 방법의 여러 시도가 있어 고대가요의 이해에 또다른 가능성을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 신화적 문학연구가 가진 보편적, 공시적인 연구 방법을 통하여 문학적인 상상력으로 고대가요의 한계성을 극복할 수 있는 가능성도 함께 주목되어야 할 것이다. 그러므로 본고에서는 서론에 이어서 순환구조의 원리를 방법론으로 정리하기 위하여 II장에서 우주순환구조를 살펴보았다. 이 순환구조가 인간의 상상력을 통해 구체화 된 경우를 검토하기 위하여, 이어서 창조신화의 양상으로 “희랍신화”에 나타난 순환구조와 성경의 “창세기”를 살펴보았으며, 동양사상에 나타난 순환론을 통한 창조의 모티브를 밝혀내고자 중국의 “역리“를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 그리고 III장에서는 “달의 순환구조”를 살펴보았다. 달의 순환구조는 “탄생(birth) -> 생성(becoming) -> 소멸(disappearance) -> 재탄생(rebirth)”의 순환구조를 가지는 점에서 우주의 순환원리를 가장 전형적으로 나타내주며, 인간의 일생과도 밀접히 대응하고 있기 때문이다. 이상과 같이 정리한 순환구조의 원리와 이것이 문학작품의 경우는 “보편적상징(The Universal Symbol)""으로 나타나 있으므로 이 양자간의 관계를 고찰하고 본고의 목적인 ”향가에 나타난 순환구조“를 이어서 분석하였다. 향가는 “달의 이미지”를 중심으로 분석하였으며, 그 외에도 순환구조를 포함하는 경우도 고찰의 대상으로 삼았다.;To understand the Korean Archaic poetry, I think it is necessary to study the civic and social science as well as litenature itself because of its limited archaic records. Recently, in academic circels of Korean Literature, there are some attempts to study the neiboury science such as folk-lore, cultural anthropology and comparative religion which shows some hope in field of our archaic poetry. Another approach to understand Korean Archaic poetry can be done by synchronic study. That is, problem of limitation in archaic poetry can be overcome with Literary imagination. Therefore in this treatise chapter Ⅱ I study the structure of cosmo cycle to establish the model of "Structure of Cycle in Korean Archaic poetry". So I intend to elucidate the "Structure of Cycle" in Greek Myth and in Genesis of the Bible as a archetypal creative works. Though the chines “Principle of Changes (易理)”. I apply the oriental philosophy of cycle to prove to motive of creation. In chapter Ⅲ I intend to study the structure of lunar cycle. The cyclic structure of "brith → becoming → disappreance → rebirth" I find it represent well the cosmos cycle and man's life. Finally with this principle of "Structure of Cycle", I intend to analyse our archaic poetry with the name of "Structure of Cycle shown in Hyang-Ga". Analysing Hyang-Ga as an object of study, I look into the detail of the moon's image and other cyclic structures.
