Bela Bartok의 작품에 나타난 민속음악적 요소에 관한 연구

Abstract

헝가리의 민속음악 어법에는 많은 음악적 재료들이 있다. 각 나라마다 그들 역사의 맥을 따라 흘러오는 문화적인 요소가 있으며 아울러 음악적인 독특한 소재들이 있다. 이런 민속음악의 어법을 연구하고 정립하여 예술음악의 경지로 이끄는 것은 매우 중요한 것이다. 이런 점에서 바르톡(BARTOK)이 행한 업적은 대단히 높이 평가되어져야 하며 연구할 충분한 가치가 있다. 바르톡은 자신이 과학적으로 정립한 헝가리의 음악의 소재들을 역시 그의 음악의 소재들로 활용한다. 즉 리듬에 있어서의 자유리듬, 주기적으로 순환되는 불규칙박자의 변형으로서 혼합박자, 리듬의 분해, 시율에 있어서의 5음음계, 여러 가지의 선법, 2종류의 헝가리 음계, 3가지의 시율형태, 화음에 있어서의 3도 구성의 화음과 비3도 구성의 화음등이 그의 민속적 색채가 짙은 작품의 소재들이라 할 수 있다. 바르톡은 이런 소재들에 자유스러움과 그의 독창성을 부여하여 많은 사람들에게 영향력 있는 음악을 창조한다. 본문에서 바르톡이 민속음악을 어떻게 예술음악의 경지로 이끄는가의 방법론을 터득함으로써 우리의 국민음악 창조의 방법론에 많은 도움이 되리라 생각한다.;There are much musical materials in the language of Hungarian folk music. And also there are cultural tradition which has come through her history all of countries. And she also has her own musical language. I think it is very important to study and to organize this language of folk music and to make it attain a stage of art music. From this point of view, the works of Bartok must be valued highly. Generally the tunes were used through all of his work. Bartok put to use the material of Hungarian folk music for his musical material which he himself organized scientifically. In detail rhythm was used freely and divided. And also irregular meter which recur pericodically changed into compound meter. Pentatonic scale was used in melody. Also various mode, two Hungarian scale and three kinds of melody pattern was used. And tertian and nontertian harmony was kept Bartok used the folk melodies freely and creatively in his works. For example if the western music (genera ly speaking) is "A", he did not compose only "A" from "A" strictly. He contributed to compose new "B" from "A". Analyzing Bartok's music, we should study and compose our own music through developing our folk music. I think it might be of great consequence to do it. And also it will be of great help for the conversion of folk music into art music in this paper.
