Schoenberg 음악의 주변과 그의 영향력에 관한 소고

Abstract

음악은 인류역사의 발전과 문화의 발달과 더불어 항상 새로운 형태로의 발전을 거듭하여 왔다. 특히, 독일의 후기낭만주의에서 현대음악으로 넘어가는 과정에서 Schoenberg악파의 작곡기법에 대한 혁신적인 개혁은 현대음악에 지대한 영향을 주었다. Schoenberg악파의 12음기법이 유럽과 전세계에 퍼진 것은 20세기 초엽이었으며 우리나라에서는 1945년이후 조금씩 관심을 갖게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 현대음악의 발전과정인 인상주의 음악과 다조음악, 무조음악 등을 살펴보는 과정에서 현대음악 발전에 커다란 공헌을 한 Bart?k과 Stravinsky를 살펴보았으며, Schoenberg의 12음기법과 그의 전통을 이어받은 Berg와 Webern음악 그리고 12음기법의 영향을 받은 현존 작곡가중 Boulez와 Stockhausen의 작풍을 살펴보았으며 그들의 악보에 간단한 분석을 덧붙였다. 대부분의 현대작곡가들은 크건 작건간에 작곡을 하는 과정에 있어서 Schoenberg의 12음기법을 다루었으며, 그의 영향을 받아서 자신들의 작풍을 세부적으로 수정하여 가면서 발전시켜 독자적인 음악풍을 탄생시키고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 1970년대 이후에는 12음기법이 퇴색해져서 실제 작품에 사용되어 지는 일이 드물지만 그의 첫 12음기법 작품인 Suite for Piano, Op. 25 (1924) 이후 근 50년간 음악계에 미친 Schoenberg의 영향은 역사적인 중요성을 가지며 아직도 학문적인 면에서 높이 평가되고 있다.;Music has been changed in its form in accordance with the development of human history and culture. Especially, Contemporary music was greatly affected by Schoenbergian's evolutign in composing method. And it was accomplished by them during the transition period, from postromanticism to contemporery music. Schoenbergian's twelve-tone s technique was spreaded on the whole world in earlr twentieth century, and also in our country since 1945. At first, music of impressionism, music of polytonality, music of atonality, music of Stravinsky and music of Bartok were reviewed. Next, twelve-tones music of Schoenberg, music of Berg, music of webern and the styles of several living contemporary composers; Stockhausen, Boulez were studied. In addition, a simple analysis of their pieces were studied. From this study the author learned that most of contemporary composers somewhat studied the Schoenberg's twelve-tones technique, and developed their specific music style with it. After 1970s, twelve-tones technique fade away and it does not use in actual works. After his first work using twelvetones technique; Suite for piano, Op, 25 (1924), Schoenberg's influence on music for about 50 years has historical importance, and it is highly estimatied on the viewpoint of theory still now
